Quick and painless! After test driving over 7 SUVs, I decided upon the new Lexus RX350 Sport. Though ready to buy, I was given sage advice from my salesperson, Richard S., who presented me with lease options! Turns out that the lease was in my best financial interest, and behold, I am the proud lessee of STORMY, a brand new white SUV that I think strongly resembles a STORM TROOPER from STAR WARS! Great (and FAST) customer service, and I am confident in their promise to keep me happy throughout my lease!

I had a difficult experience in buying my new LS 460. When I wanted to see the new features of the car I was told that the SIMM card wasn’t available, but we could drive a different model of Lexus that would show me the features. It was great. I liked the lane assist, the top-​down radar, the seat ventilation that actually worked, and more. So I bought the 460 and then was told that none of these features are available on it. My salesman, Justin, who is a nice young man, volunteered that the 460 brochure is misleading. So if you want to avoid a bait and switch, try out every feature of the actual car you are buying. I didn’t, and I regret it. I complained to Justin and was told the sales manager would call me. No call.

Loved doing business with DJ and the rest of the sales team at Lexus Carlsbad. The entire staff provided excellent customer service. The manager, Randy, was terrific to deal with as was Alan who helped me with my financing. While I was completing the paperwork, DJ had my new car washed and parked in the drive waiting for me.

As a 3-​time Lexus owner, I have found the BEST experience with Lexus of Carlsbad. Bob Kreger, sales consultant, and Jenny Branson, Customer Service Manager, get accolades. What a team!
Bob’s amazing product knowledge of new and older Lexus cars plus competitive autos, his low-​keyed approach, and his skillful listening with follow through, created a stress-​free sales experience. He gave me confidence, by asking questions and showing a sincere interest in helping me make a wise choice for my current needs. Did I mention his winsome personality which is a jot to be around?
After the sale, I spent some time in a «discovery mode» of the new Lexus technical wizardry which was somewhat overwhelming. Thankfully, I received an invitation to a New Owners’ meeting hosted by tech savvy, energetic Jenny Branson. I brought a long list of questions and was very impressed with her nimble brain as she fielded a myriad of questions with ease.
Jenny then scheduled a one-​on-​one educational appointment. Again, I brought my list of questions. Jenny totally put me at ease with my new «computer on wheels.» The «Lexus Voice Command Cheat Sheet,» which Jenny created, saves me from paging through the manual. I keep the «Cheat Sheet» in the car for quick reference. It’s like having Coach Jenny in the right seat.

I would not use Lexus in Carlsbad anymore. I took my car there for a repair but they told me that they would not touch my car because it had an accident before. I took my car to Lexus in San Diego off of Kearny Mesa. They took my car in and gave me a loner car. What a difference between two dealers. I would recommend Lexus in San Diego to every one instead of this dealership…

First and for most I would like to say that this group was very friendly and professional and were quick to respond. I inquired about the 2013 Kia Optima that they had on their website was immediately was replied back. They were quick and easy to convince me to come in and check it out, keep in mind I wasn’t planning to come home with an actual car that day.
Walked in and was immediately greeted with a big smile by Bob Delaney. He was very professional and honest about the car and found ways that they can do to better assist us during the whole car shopping process and the good thing about the whole time we were there was, he didn’t keep pushing us like other dealerships or beat around the bush, just straight to the point. Enjoyed our non car conversations as well, made our experience more comfortable and always made eye contact and responded to us by our names. Our financing part was great because we had Aisha, spoke and work with us as if we knew each other from way back! Really friendly and professional and honest! All in all we had a great experience with the whole team and we love our car! Thank you all!

I just returned my lease car and got another one yesterday at Lexus Carlsbad. While I love my new RX 350, I want to comment here on the exceptional customer service I received. All of the folks at this dealership are very competent, as one would hope. But the personal attention I received was outstanding. Brad, my salesman, was great. He helped me make my best choice and was very pleasant– not at all like the stereotype. He and his mgr patiently gave me all the different options for purchasing the RX 350. I was surprised to find out I could lease a pre-​owned vehicle AND get a warranty through 2020.
Aisha, the finance manager made the money part of the deal easy and comfortable.
And I have to say that I returned to Lexus Carlsbad to shop because of the exceptional service I get each week when I get my car washed. The folks get to know you and make you feel like part of the family– I didn’t want to give this up by buying a Mercedes around the corner. In a world where businesses can do their job, but remain distant feeling, this dealership goes above and beyond. A special shout out to Bernardo for always being so friendly– one of the people I’d miss; and to Joe Lazar, my service writer, who is great.

This Lexus service group exceed my expectations. I have taken both of my silver Lexus’s to Joe L., and he not only stood being the great audio service to our IS350, but also solved a long standing battery drain issue I had with my LS430. He also found leaky castor oil problem, whatever that means… But my LS430 now drives like a dream, the squeak is gone, and the alignment is once again top notch! These guys, and the Service manager is why we chose Lexus’s, and will get our next ones here. They truly go the extra mile to be sure you and you cars are taken care of. Once again, I’d really like to thank Joe and his team for their great work.
Both of silver Lexus’s are in great condition, both were even washed with the service and we were even teased with a couple newer RX’s as loaner cars while the service was performed. Very smart move.
My only regret is the I live in San Diego, and the Lexus dealer down here falls far short of the service we received several times in Carlsbad. It’s such a tangible difference, that I’ll continue to drive up to Carlsbad to see them, have my services done there, and also buy my Lexus there. I’m very happy and impressed with this team.

We love Lexus and have driven an RX350 for the past 6 years. We just leased our 3^rd one yesterday from Lexus Carlsbad and had a great experience with Walid Doumit, who provided outstanding, excellent customer service. Being Carlsbad residents, we are happy to have found a home with Lexus Carlsbad.

We bought a CT200H from the Carlsbad facility just yesterday. Great experience, worth the drive as we live in Poway. The Sales representative was Sean Roeder.
He was very professional, confident and knowledgeable. I later figured he has been in the business for many years. He was firm with his information and pricing but was very comfortable to work with. The facility has excellent choices. If you are looking for a good Lexus Id surely suggest the drive here.
If you hate dealing with dealerships but want a happy experience, I suggest this place.

I have bought three Lexus (CT, RX, and GS) at this dealership over the course of five years. Each time has been a fantastic, stress-​free experience. I have worked with Bob Kreger each time, by request. And I would bypass two Lexus dealerships on purpose to do business with Lexus Carlsbad. Customer service has been paramount in my experience. Truth be told, Lexus Carlsbad is one dealership I truly don’t mind going to. I am happy to give them my business.
Bob has been tremendously helpful each time and each step of the way, including the time to bring an RX back at lease end. He has gone out of his way to be helpful every time I see him, even on a social call just to see what Lexus is currently offering.) He is thorough going over the car functions, very helpful during the test drive process. If anything, he was a matchmaker who helped me fall in love with my GS. Still love it after two years. I plan on keeping it. By far, the best car I have ever owned. I consider Bob «a friend in the business» now.
The showroom is always spotless. I am always greeted by a friendly face when I walk in. Coffee, sodas, snacks are always available, standard for this level of automobile ownership. I truly don’t mind driving an hour out of my way to do business with this group.

This is our second car, first time was Lexus GS F type, second car is for my wife Lexus IS 250 F type. Both cars and experience was excellent. I highly recommend Lexus of Carlsbad, especially the sales person Richard. Richard is the best salesperson to have when you buying cars, honest, intelligent, know everything about cars. It was a real pleasure to work with Richard. Thank you again for the best services!!!

Our dashboard crack was to be repaired under warranty replacement. It has been over 5 months since the car was inspected at Lexus and it has not been repaired. I called today and the parts department told me it will not be repaired for another 3 – 5 months!
A complete nightmare experience (thus far).

First, please do yourself a favor and look over the plethora of reviews which are «not recommended» that are located below the main thread. Most are one-​star. I know better: I should have looked at those in addition to the many «recommended» reviews which give this place a 4-​star rating.
My experience: The sales process was stressful enough — salesperson Alan phoned and texted me more than a half dozen times the day I told him I was coming up to put an offer on a car I had looked at, even though I kept him apprised of exactly when I would be there and asked him not to call or text me when I was driving. He was very tightly-​wound, «high anxiety,» and not at all helpful to work with. But I was stuck with him. He tried to talk me out of looking at the service records for the (used) car I was buying. Who does that?
Turns out it *had* been in a collision, which they did not disclose to me, even though they were responsible for fixing the damage subsequent to the car being traded in to them — so they knew about it. I asked for any service records that they had — yet they didn’t show me paperwork regarding what they themselves had done prior to sale, including this body work (dishonest, i think). They mentioned a couple things (they had put on new tires, for example) but conveniently left the body damage out of the discussion.
The coup de grâce is that a promised (on the paperwork) 3-​month free session of SiriusXM radio ended after a month and change. After notifying Lexus Carlsbad, I was directed to call SiriusXM and get it reinstated, whereupon they would reimburse me. I did so and called the individual I was directed to call to report the information for reimbursement: Sammy, Used Car Manager. He blew off two of my phone messages, a week apart. (I like to give people time — I know they’re busy.)
Really feels like I dealt with your typical used car dealership. I don’t know why I expected better from them, but I did. Couldn’t be more disappointed. I don’t write Unilocal reviews right out of the box. I never gave Lexus Carlsbad requested feedback on the awful sales experience, because why get a car salesman in trouble? I didn’t bring up the fact that they had withheld information from me regarding the collision body work that they did, because I just wanted to be done with the experience and carry on with my life.
But some guy not addressing a very simple issue, blowing off two of my phone calls after all that? Yesterday, I called the General Manager of the dealership. What a surprise — he hasn’t returned my call, either. That’s just so unprofessional that the whole experience needs broadcasting.

Had a good experience with Lexus Carlsbad even though I hate going to dealerships. I knew exactly what car I wanted and didn’t want to waste time with salespeople trying to sell me on features I didn’t want.
Tim Toor helped me get what I needed, nothing more, nothing less. He made me feel completely comfortable and I had no problem trusting him while we worked through numbers that would work for me. He was extremely patient and understanding throughout the entire process and I didn’t feel pressured to make any impulse decisions. There were no «Act now or else this deal will go away!» offers and he made it clear that I was getting the best deal possible.
I will not hesitate to come back and will recommend all my friends and family to go here.

We purchased a 2016 RX 350 from Lexus Carlsbad right before New Years. We had the pleasure of working with Tim Toor who was much easier to work with than the gentleman we purchased our last Lexus from (he is no longer there). Tim was very hard working and worked hard to get us exactly the car we wanted. They needed up having to truck it in from Portland, but it was well worth the wait. See attached picture and I’m sure you will agree.
We don’t like the high pressure sales approach and actually came in to drive 3 different RX’s with Tim on three different days. He was very pleasant to work with and never tried to push a car in us that didn’t fit our exact specifications. We can’t forget the GM Brian Goodermont ether. He assisted and made the entire process the best car buying experience we have ever had. They took our trade in, gave us a very fair price for it and made things easy on us. We didn’t want to go to multiple places to get quotes or sell to a private buyer… again, Tim and Brian came though to get us the deal that was perfect for us. Highly recommend both of them and this dealership in general. Always a nice place to come to… and I use to hate going to dealerships… so that is saying a lot!

Bob Delaney is the car salesman from whom I want to buy my next Lexus. He is a feminist — believes in equal rights for both men and women — and he is also sensitive to ageism; I like to work with people that have good ethics and similar values. The cherry on top is that he is interested in giving his clients value and he does it by listening (and he gave my baby puppy several treats and petted him lovingly).
After a conversation with Bob, I decided it wasn’t the right time to buy. Bob gets it. He doesn’t push and he sincerely wants what is best for you. I love that.
I may have not bought a car but I most definitely want to buy one from him in the future — when it makes sense.
If you are thinking of a Lexus, I recommend you go talk to Bob in Carlsbad.

Michael Baker and his sales manager, Marius Mitrofan, are on another level when it comes to car sales compared to your stereotypical peeps. Michael Baker had the patience to deal with our indecisiveness and never once made us feel like a bother. Since we live right up the street, we were by a few times and Marius stayed true to his word and gave us an exceptional price (took care of us) on a new RX350 F Sport. Absolutely gorgeous car and these guys honored exactly what they said and we appreciate it. Even though they had to dealer trade for the car, it was all taken care of and explained as we went along.
Thank you guys so much for such an AWESOME experience and we hope this review will help someone else make the right decision with a purchase from Lexus Carlsbad!

I brought my Lexus to get it serviced and clean here the other day and I have to say I’m impressed with the service. I work nearby so I went during my lunch break. The service was fast, yet my car was spotless, oil changed and they washed and vacuumed my car while i enjoy my tea and do some work on my laptop. I was thrilled to have my car back looking so shiny and pretty.
I think I’m going to take my car here for service from now on. I’ve been going to the one in Escondido but I like the service here much better.
