This place is terrible! My girlfriend had this lady who dropped the instruments on the floor and still attempted to use the nail cutter and filer on her feet!!! My girlfriend obviously said to get new tools and the lady was actually annoyed by the request!!! Disgusting!

My friend and I wanted to get our, much over due, acrylic nails taken off and a nice clean gel polish to take its place. We walked in for our apt a few minutes early, and let the front desk know we were there. We then were seated sitting side by side. They said only one tech was available and we would have to go one at a time, for one of us to get our nails done. Which was fine, it clearly was incredibly packed and busy.

My friends nail artist was incredibly kind, soft handed, gentle, polite and did amazing work. This review is mostly about MY personal experience.

An older lady then sat in front of me with gloves already on. Apparently, she was an open tech who had just finished with another client and had time to do my nails. Awesome, right? No, not awesome.
She asked me what I would like to do with my nails and I explained as clearly as I could what I wanted. I wanted my acrylics taken off, nails shaped and a CLEAR gel polish to go over them to keep them strong so I can keep growing them and not have them break. She then proceeded to argue with me about how I should keep the plastic extension and acrylics on my nails since they would be so frail. Which, is completely understandable to think, BUT, I wanted what I had asked for. So, after finally getting her to okay what I wanted, she proceeded to take my acrylics off…
(Let me remind you, my friends artist took hers off slowly and gentle with using a plastic nail extension to slowly slide under the acrylic to not damage her nail or nail bed.)
She starts whacking at them and chipping away the acrylic with a cuticle cutter. She tearing the acrylic off my nails and pushing my real nail down bending it in half to get this stuff off. I told her it hurt and asked if she could do it the way her co-​worker was doing my friends nails. She then did it that way, but very rushed and still pulled at my nails causing two to chip. She then finally gets the acrylic off and sets my hands into the most piping hot water! I moved my hands back and waited for the water to cool off. While shaping my nails she made them all different lengths — which I had not noticed until the very end. I asked for an almond shape. She argued saying my nails weren’t long enough, which they are, and proceeded to square my nails. I stopped her and tried to explain how the shape looked that I wanted and even her co-​worker told her the shape she was giving me wasn’t the write shape. She then fixed the shape. While painting my nails, that part went smoothly as I got the clear gel polish I wanted. While she was doing her final coat I noticed my nails weren’t filed evenly and she broke one off and tried to file it in shape but now was way shorter than the rest.
At this point I just wanted to leave as my friend was waiting for me. She then stood up and took the towel off the table and shook contents into the floor… And put the towel back down which is when I noticed this towel has been used multiple times with multiple customers as it has a bunch of gunk and other colored polishes on it. This is when I started inspecting her tools left out and other equipment and noticed none of it was sterilized or really cleaned. AND, her gloves weren’t put on to prevent germs it was to protect her own nails as I watched her go to another client using the same gloved she used on which which has small holes in it.
Probably the worst 35 dollars I had spent, and I just wanted to leave the entire time I was there. I will not be going back to this location as it was my first time there and the impression I got was terrible!

I came here to get my nails in a jam and the lady did a decent job and the price was fair, however it’s not a great atmosphere.
It’s kind of dingy, poorly decorated and doesn’t feel very clean to me.
I also don’t think it’s very professional for the manicurist to ask you to get up and wash your hands during the treatment instead of scrubbing your nails for you after cutting your cuticles. A small line formed by the sink for everyone washing their hands. It takes away from the relaxing experience a manicure is supposed to be.
Parking is also difficult to find depending on the time of day, as it is in a busy shopping center.
I probably won’t be going back, unless I absolutely have to.

I wanted to like this place because it’s conveniently located, but I did not have a great experience. They have a lot of chairs (I think 12 – 14 pedicure chairs) so getting in without an appointment was easy. I needed a mani/​pedi, and asked my manicurist to please not cut my cuticles, only push them back. I had a bad experience a few years ago where a manicurist cut my toe and I’m really nervous about it happening again. She only cut the sides, but guess what… she cut the skin on my big toe. I would have taken a photo but didn’t want to gross you all out. I had to put Neosporin and a bandaid on it. How pretty. I also noticed they do NOT use clean pumice stones. The one she used on me was very worn down and I could see it was dirty. I tried to ask her if she had a newer one, but she just smiled and didn’t seem to understand. I also had to completely reshape my nails on my hands when I got home. They were weirdly round and uneven. The gal I had was sweet, but really young and I don’t think too experienced. One other thing… during the pedicure she handed me a laminated price list of «upgraded» services, so if you want a foot massage or your callouses buffed, you pay extra. I did pay extra, and it was the worst foot massage I’ve ever had. She only slathered on lotion and lightly rubbed it around for about 5 minutes. I’m sure I won’t be back.

I LOVE this place and I have been coming here for years! But it really does depend on the nail stylist that you work with some are really new and some have been there for years! ANNA is the BEST you need an appointment as she is always busy! And Trina at the front desk rocks!!!

This place is a total «turn em’ and burn em’» style environment, with real no feel of personal attention, just a hurry to get you in and out. I really should have known better the minute I walked in, but I was desperate for a gel manicure, and they were able to fit me in. The lady spoke English well enough, but literally had me in and out in 25 minutes for gels. She did an awful job of shaping my nails, hardly touched my cuticles and at one point I asked her if she could slow down. Though I never agreed to it, she tried for 5 minutes to «upgrade» me to something called «shalack» which is apparently better for gels. I am fairly confident that all it managed to do was limit the amount of wear. Its no wonder with as thick as they slabbed it on (about as thick as acrylic nails) that the gels didnt take long to start peeling. It really makes me miss my nail ladies in Huntington Beach, who never felt the need to upgrade me, even telling me no when I wanted additional things. I am certain they dont even use this so called «shalack» for the reason that it doesnt prolong wear. Good customer service and quality nail salons I guess must be harder to come by than I imagined. I just hope more people read the reviews on this place before going. I certainly didnt, though I wish I had.

Not great, but will do in a pinch. I came here because I had another appointment in the complex and didn’t have time to run across town to my usual nail place before my other appointment. In order to «save time» I was asked by a nail tech, who ended up not even doing my nails, to pay first which was awkward. How am I supposed to tip on services that haven’t been rendered yet? The woman who did do my nails didn’t speak a word to me, which was also slightly awkward, but I was okay with. It was no frills and I was in and out in 20 minutes.
Not awful, but I’ve experienced better.

Very disappointing after coming here for some time. Poor quality and high prices in comparison to experience and end product. Feel as if they neglect regular clientele to tend to the squeaky wheels. Was asked to wait when other clients complained about nail work and they repaired. That’s okay. However, I returned yesterday to have two nails repaired after arriving home to see they were curved improperly under UV light. I was told they had no time and come back next day. My work schedule does not allow for this and its the holidays too. Repaired myself after a $ 60 Mani pedi + $ 15 tip.

Very clean, nice ladies do a great job with pedicures and manicures. They even have someone come over to give a shoulder and neck massage! What a treat.
Not sure why the Unilocal rating is so low (2 ½ stars) so I’m giving 5 stars as they deserve a much higher rating that is being displayed.

Came here for the first time this past Friday. Walked in for a mani-​pedi and didn’t have to wait longer than picking out my color. I went around 3pm and they were very busy! The salon itself is very small but they have lots of pedicure chairs. I think they could do with more ventilation being a small space, especially when they’re so busy. The salon is clean but some of the chairs look a little beat up. My pedicure chair’s massage settings weren’t working and later in the visit the lady sitting next to me complained that hers wasn’t working either.
Jenny did both my pedicure and manicure and she’s a doll! Very sweet and takes her time. Great precision on my French tip pedicure! However, my manicure isn’t the best. She seemed to be running out of top coat but didn’t get a new bottle. At the time they looked fine but once I left and they were completely dry you can see streaks and blotches.
Overall, I would definitely give this salon (and Jenny) another try but I think I’ll try to go in the middle of the week when it’s less crowded.

I want to like this place. Everyone is nice and the prices are reasonable. The issue I have is that every time I get a pedicure they advertise a 10 minute massage. That is not true. You get a 5 minute massage that seems forced. Please tell your employees to set a timer and realize most people consider the massage the best part of a pedicure

Super close to my house so I thought I would give it a shot. It’s not a super luxurious spa, but quality work for a good price. I was surprised to see other reviews saying the people that work there weren’t polite, I thought they were all quite sweet. Wish I had gotten the name of the girl that did my nails. She does fantastic French gel manicures.

Great for a lunch break mani/​pedi if you work in the area. Nothing glamorous, but solid polish selection and nice massage chairs. They’ve never kept me waiting, and I’m a big fan of one of the new nail techs (Nhi). I don’t typically review nail salons, but I was surprised to see so many negative reviews and wanted to offer my honest opinion. I can always count on Happiness for a quality mani, pedi, and mini-​massage!

I tried this place again because I needed a fast fill during my lunch break. I got here about 10:30 and the place was already packed. They sat me right away and the young lady who did my nails was very friendly and informative. She had me in and out in about 55 min.
It’s 5 days later, my polish is already busted and I still haven’t been able to get the excess nail glue pulled off of my fingers. I’m not unhappy because I should have followed my gut and not gone here. Next time I won’t go with lazy and drive the extra 5 min down the road.

Hey! This is my nail place. You’ll find me here every other week. Always lets me make an appointment and honors it without my sitting around and waiting. When they know I am coming, they get me in and get me out. I do acrylics and they are one of the few nail spa’s or salons that have people that will do them and not try and get me to do gel. I usually do a pink and white and they get it. Been going here for at least 2 years, maybe longer. Thanks Happiness for the great service!

This place seemed okay. Good area, clean salon, took me quickly. I think I just got a bad manicurist my gel manicure sucks. It’s been less than a week two nails already came off and it’s bubbling

This place was hands down the worst nail salon I have ever been to. First let’s start with the fact that I waited 40 minutes for them to even start my nails. I was with two other people and they were both seen to about 15 minutes after we were seated. Then the lady who was doing my nails cut my cuticles to no end with her dremmel. Also, all the tips she put on my nails were not as wide as my actual nail, so you can see my real nail on the sides.
The only good thing about my experience was at the end when a different lady waxed my eyebrows. She was so sweet and did and amazing job.
I definitely will not be going to this salon ever again.

A solid 3 stars… Good pricing, not the friendliest but not the meanest. Fair.
You get a 5 minute massage with a mani or pedi, that’s nice. Color choices seem picked over… But I didn’t have to wait and they do nails and toes at same time ! Bonus!

I got a gel French manicure & eyebrows waxed.
The manicurist seemed nice, but her breathe was kicking & she didn’t remove all of the prior gel polish I had on. Her nail shaping & painting skills was alright, it seemed like she was new to it by the outcome but she said she had 6 years of exp.
From the looks of it, it looks like they don’t sanitize there tools at all.
Waxing was okay, nothing spectacular. just a simple clean up & trim. Very friendly lady.
Gel French — $ 27. Eyebrows — $ 8. Total $ 35.
I wouldn’t recommend this place for quality or cleanliness but if you want friendly services that’s fine.

I come for pedicures and gel manicures… they have a great selection of gel polish colors, and i have loved both my manicures and pedicures each time i come. The prices are pretty decent. It’s clean and they usually have me in and out really quickly. I haven’t yet established a regular person, but so far everyone I’ve gotten has been good.
The free 5 minute neck and shoulder massage is awesome! And the 15 minute one that you can upgrade to is even better. That guy works out the knots and kinks in my shoulders like it’s nobody’s business.
My major complaint with this place (which is less of a complaint than a compliment i suppose, but has become a deterrent for me) is that they offer so many great services that i can’t resist and that do add up, I end up walking out of there feeling a little guilty at what I spent. Individually the prices are all very reasonable. I think (off the top of my head) it’s $ 16 for a spa pedicure, $ 26 for gel manicure ($ 2 off if you get a pedicure at the same time), and $ 15 for the 15 minute massage. I just wish i could afford to drop the money for the trifecta every time!
