My daughter has been dancing at CPAA for over a year now, she absolutely loves it there, teachers are all amazing, they teach with so much love and support. My daughter has so much confidence and discipline ever since she started dancing there. The owner, Ms. Mary is very approachable and is always available to help in any way she can. We can’t be any happier and are looking forward to many years of dancing there!

I’ve done theatre and dance here and it was the greatest experience! Mary and the other teachers genuinely care about every student and really push them in a way that doesn’t make you feel discouraged. Love everyone here!

We have been dancing with CPAA for 3 years and absolutely love the entire experience. We’ve tried two other studios in the area in the past and nothing has the same feel as CPAA’s family of teachers and students. I have 3 girls, ages 8, 10 and 14 and they are all dancing at different levels. CPAA has a good balance between competitive and recreational. Also, one of my daughters has special needs and the dance studio is a definite inclusion atmosphere with both the students and dance teachers accepting kids that are «out of the box». I would definitely recommend any of the classes offered at CPAA.

My daughter has been dancing at Carlsbad Performing Arts Academy for the last 6 years. We love how nurturing and encouraging all the teachers are. Every time my daughter walks out of CPAA she beams with confidence. Everyone at the studio, parents, teacher and students are so supportive of one another which makes everyone feel like a family.
I can imagine my kids dancing, acting or performing with any other studio.

The owner Ms Mary is amazing. She’s got such a positive energy and enthusiasm with the kids they can’t help but love to come to dance. There are a lot of talented teachers there as well. My daughters– 6 & 8 have done tap, ballet, and jazz. They’ve also dome some theatre classes here too. Love it.

I was really happy with this place. My 5 year old son was really into dancing so I signed him up for the boys hip hop class. The staff was friendly and the dance instructor was great with the kids and even had some professional dance experience. The best part was the tv in the waiting area where the parents could watch everything going on but not be a distraction to the kids class. I was tickled every time I was able to watch the boys break out in their natural freestyle moves… hilarious! The price was reasonable and my son enjoyed the classes for a couple months before we moved on to soccer season. I also love that there is no commitment so it wasn’t a big deal when we stopped attending classes. Definitely worth a shot for variety in your child’s life.
