Food is good enough to keep coming back It’s not the best but it’s not the worst. Their food will probably taste better if they have an enthusiastic staff that is sincerely friendly and displays a good attitude. Unfortunately, you would have a better chance getting hit by a lightning first before they start hiring In-N-Out/Chic Fil-A caliber type of employees. I have been to a few Alberto’s restaurants located in different cities and all their employees are miserable doing their work. Attitude reflects leadership.

Not bad, and prices are good. They take cards and no charge. I hate places who change you extra for using your card or don’t take any cards and cash only. Salsa is good too.

Very good California burrito, I really like their tortillas. Nothing to complain about, obviously don’t come here expecting a super fancy meal.

Really don’t know what all of these people are complaining about. I’ve been eating at Alberto’s since I was a kid and I love it. It’s the most authentic Mexican food you’ll get in the U.S. If you want a super clean, corporate ran Mexican restaurant then go to Chipotle or Baja Fresh.

Do NOT phone order, there is NO point to call ahead! Called in a large phone order, order was taken by a very unenthusiastic staff. When I arrived the same girl literally said«we didn’t think you were going to come.» So while they said it would be 10 minutes until ready on the phone, they didn’t start my order until I got there… Mexican food is all the same to me, I was picking it up for house guests but I ended up being gone for almost an hour while ‘I ran to pick up food’ Not COOL :(

Good food. Decent pricing. Customer service is blah. But who cares — it s a hole that has good burritos.

My fiancé was craving Mexican food and Alberto’s was close so I drove there to get some take out. As soon as I walked in I regretted my decision. The cashier seemed annoyed and was texting while to children were on top of the counter playing with two men. When I walked up, the kids and men ran off screaming and the cashier took my order. She had no personality whatsoever. Once I sat down, I noticed one of the men came back from running around and playing with the kids to actually cook the food. Thankfully he washed his hands(for a second or 2) the other man joined the cashier back at the counter with the children and the cashier went back to texting. Meanwhile I looked around and the place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned all day. The floor was sticky, trash everywhere, ect. Not good. On top of that, the cook kept shouting in Spanish and laughing was seemed very unprofessional but who am I kidding it wasn’t professional from the get go. I understand it’s a whole in the wall place but this was just ridiculous

This place used to be ok. But now its just out right horrible. I keep going in and hoping for it to get better. This last time was the worst. I walked in to see the cook holding his baby in the back. Went right from that to cooking someone else’s food. Didn’t wash his hands. I turned around and just walked out. Time before that… Walked in to find a different cook out front talking to the cashier but when I ordered she told me the beans were rly salty and the rice was hard. Other times the soda machine would be down or totally out of ice, But still sold me a soda. I won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I am used to getting very bland shredded beef burritos and i got the opposite here. The meat was a little salty but in a good way. Maybe the other stuff aint as good and that explains some of the reviews here but cant go wrong with this burrito. No skimping on the meat either.

Man, I really don’t want to give up on this place, but they have just given up on me. It used to be Kotija in this location which I loved. So then these guys come along. Not bad at first, but they just keep sinking. Food options disappear. They may be completely be out of something. Prices rising. Dirty inside, which I don’t care about but the salsa is a reflection of the neglect given. Food may be cold, small or just wrong. Too bad, makes me very disappointed. Options are slim for Mexican in this area. I see this place has never been given a 5, and reviews seem to be slipping last year or so. I definitely see it.

Lame. Closed at 8:50a when the sign says open at 7:30a. Guess they don’t need any customers.

Went here for hangover food, it serves it’s purpose BUT the place is dirty, run down lacks a lot of health standards… The soda machine had zero ice and nothing worked yet he let me buy a soda only to find out that nothing works on the run down fountain. He looked like he wanted to murder whoever didn’t come in that day and was just down right lazy. I was in need of a burrito for survival, bad hang over, that I got but I will never ever return to this place again. I will go to espiritos !!

Thought we’d Change things up tonight. Wow, that was a mistake. Cashier needs a lesson on customer service, the attitude was not flattering. First, I asked for water, was told they don’t have water cups, I said you don’t have any cups(noticing their other cups in front of me)? She reluctantly said she could give me a SMALL rice bowl(like 2 ounces) for the water. Uh no. Bill came to 12.11 gave her a 20 and eleven cents. ‘You don’t have two dollars?’ Not nicely, not apologetically, but bothered. Indeed I didn’t have 2 additional dollar bills but dug to give her change that equaled 2 dollars. I then noticed there were no hot carrots. I asked if we could get some. Was met ‘we don’t have any’, alrighty then. Food was eh. I’ll stick with Sushi next door.

This place blows! I was on my break and went in to get a burrito. When u walk in it looks nice but don’t be fooled, it smells like a dirty diaper. Go up to the register and place my order: a bean and cheese with fries and sour cream. Service is ok. I leave next door and I eat my burrito. Beans were flavorless, sour cream was ok, cheese is super greasy, and fries as well. I felt pretty sick. If you’re thinkin about eatin somethin good go with a breakfast burrito! Sorry fellas, I was not impressed with Alberto’s. The food was fine — my buddy had a couple of tacos, and I had a California Burrito. My burrito was good, but it has to be difficult to screw up a tortilla filled only with meat, french fries, cheddar cheese and sour cream. Rather than hook up the water to the soda fountain, Alberto’s had a big orange igloo cooler out on the counter — the kind players use to shower their coach with Gatoraid after the team wins the big game. On both sides of the menu board were handwritten posters listing specials. There was another hand drawn message over the salsa bar suggesting menu items. The booths weren’t built in to the walls — they looked temporary. The coin operated gumball machines were also kind of tacky. Maybe I am being too harsh — after all, this is a taqueria — one of many locations — so what did I expect? The restaurant was clean, the prices are good, the guy behind the counter was pleasant, the food came up quickly and everything tasted fine. All that is true — it just wasn’t better than average.
