Claire is amazing. She went above and beyond for my postpartum care and I couldn’t be happier. I know some people are put off by the idea of placenta encapsulation, and I may have been one of those when I had my first baby… but during my second pregnancy, I was open to the idea after hearing others experiences. After speaking with my own doctor (who has been in practice for over 20 years and is highly regarded in Orange County), she said «It can’t hurt, so give it a try.» So I did, and I’m confident that it was a great choice and not only recommend it to close friends, but to ANY pregnant woman I meet. Even my husband is on board with the idea and is now a believer. After having a c section, I still had crazy amounts of energy (probably too much, its better than coffee!) which allowed me to bounce back and chase my toddler around and get through the long nights being up with a newborn. I had ZERO blue days which was by far the best part for me as my last child I had on and off blues for a few weeks and had a rough time bonding with baby. I still have some of my «magic pills» left over in the freezer (Im three months post baby) and still pop one or two on days that Im feeling run down or moody and I notice a difference pretty quickly. If we have a third baby, Claire can charge me whatever she wants, because Im paying! She works magic. Let her take care of you!

I had only heard very little about placenta encapsulation before having my 2^nd baby. Claire and I connected through our MOPS group only a few short weeks before my due date. We set up a time to meet and go over information and I left feeling really, really excited about the whole idea of encapsulation. Claire is so easy to talk to and it’s so easy to find common ground with her. I loved that she helped me understand what the process and service was all about and at the same time asked great questions to get to know me and my family better. She truly wants to help in whatever way she can. always!
My husband called Claire when we arrived at the hospital and they stayed in contact via text after baby was delivered. Claire arrived at the hospital very soon after baby and my husband did the exchange of goods with her;) She had everything done and ready to bring over in less than 48 hours and stayed to explain everything as well as leave us with directions in case we forgot. She also brought nursing cookies and a few other goodies. We LOVED the art she made with the placenta and it’s in the nursery.
All in all, we could not have been more happy with our experience with Claire, the whole process and how I felt in the weeks/​month following baby #2’s arrival.

Claire is an amazing woman and puts her heart and soul into her products! From the moment I met her, I knew she was there to help me any way possible. She was extremely helpful in answering any questions I had about encapsulation and the benefits of placenta consumption. Claire put me at ease when I had questions about safety and the potential risks associated with this process.
We discussed options other than encapsulation, including a tincture, a salve, smoothies, and belly binding. Claire was extremely kind, gentle, and supportive of my decision to proceed with all of them sans the binding and helped ensure I was comfortable with the entire process! She followed up with me pre-​delivery and then again several times postpartum, ensuring baby and I were doing well. Claire was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had.
Every child and pregnancy is different. My first was a breeze, but I struggled more with the second. I can’t imagine what it would have been like without Claire and her products this time around. She was instrumental to my joyful postpartum experiences and I would (and have) recommend her to anyone!
As a side note — I didn’t realize how much consuming my placenta would increase my milk supply. It was so much, that I donated nearly 200 ounces of milk in the first 3 months!
Also, since I had such an easy delivery, I didn’t need the salve for «down there.» Instead, I used it on stretch marks, as a (facial) lotion, and as a diaper rash cream, which worked AMAZINGLY well!

A New Moon did my placenta encapsulation for my second boy in March, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. Claire was there to take my placenta within an hour of the surprise-​month-​early birth, and I had pills and a tincture by the following day. The packaging was adorable, the placenta art was colorful and frame-​worthy, and best of all, I had no postpartum depression; a huge plus since I had to go home and take care of a 17-​month old. I still use the tincture when I feel «the bitch» coming out once a month and it totally helps me get back to my normal self. If I was crazy enough to have a third baby, there would be no question about who I’d use. Oh, and as another plus, she helped fit my Kinderpack so that my newborn could be comfortable enough to sleep while I chased my toddler around. I feel like a pro at this Mom thing now!
