Established in 1980.
The best ice cream shoppe and grill in Capitola Village for over 30 years. Located on the corner of Stockton Ave. and Esplanade in the only building to survive the massive fire of 1933 and the only one left from Capitola Villages youngest days. The café has become a mainstay for tourists and locals alike.

Mike S.
Business Owner
A Silicon Valley software sales and professional services manager for over 20 years, Mike, along with his wife Amy, bought Café Violette in October 2011. They moved to Aptos in the Fall of 2003 and they both wanted to work where they lived. Mike was seeking a new challenge after 2 decades in high tech. Love of the area, local suppliers and location made Café Violette the perfect choice.
