Love this place! Everytime I come to town to spend the day at the beach I come here to get a sandwich and chips. The bread is always amazing, the sandwiches in general I get is amazing every time! When I bring friends here they always say that their sandwich was bomb. I can’t get enough of those sandwiches! Plus 6 bucks for the whole thing, you can’t go wrong! My go to place for amazing yet cheap lunch.

My husband and I went here on a whim today(Tuesday) around 2:00 and was helped by a really sweet woman! She was incredibly helpful & accommodated my vegan diet in such a wonderful way! :) It was a good portion size for the price & we were pleasantly surprised! Thank you!

Great place for lunches. 5 star. But no star for hours of operation. Never know if open or closed. Would be good for consistency of availability.

My cousin and I stopped here since my cousin was craving coffee. She ordered an almond coffee, which was good, according to her. We stayed a while to charge our phones with the outlets by the tables. I later ordered the chicken guacamole sandwich. The sandwich is exactly like what it says on the menu. Nothing more, nothing less. I could have made this myself. The chicken is like in the form of the processed flat hams, so it’s not actual pieces of real chicken. It is a bit overpriced, but I bought it anyway. The café is nice, quiet, and small. It is very relaxing. There aren’t a lot of customers so there’s not a lot of disturbance. There is a clean bathroom behind the cashier for customers only. If this café was in the area I live in and a bit cheaper, I would come here all the time to do work, chill, and eat.

Finally! A place on the esplanade that make a STELLARFRUITSMOOTHIE. I ordered the $ 4.00 mango banana peach, and it was BIG and DELICIOUS, made of 100% fruit. Thank you, it’s about freakin’ time somebody down there got it right!

Was in a hurry and ran in to get a cup of coffee and a pastry. Pastries were fresh and good and so was the coffee. The gal who served me was very sweet.

We had a burrito, two different sandwiches, and a fruit bowl. Everything was fresh and delicious! The sourdough roll was a real treat. Service was very friendly and helpful, though a bit slow, as the kind lady seemed a little overwhelmed. She explained that they had just recently opened, so I’m sure speed will improve. Overall, an excellent experience.

I was making a quick food pit stop in Capitola while driving from SF to Carmel and saw this place. It looked cute and a great place to get something quick. It was open and airy and very clean. The woman working behind the counter alone was very, very nice despite being a little overwhelmed. There was a very decent menu, lots of sandwich and salad options. A few breakfast items listed as well as other things. Problem is they were sold out of what seemed to be a good portion of their options. I went with some clam chowder. I figured we are right on the ocean, should be good. Wrong. Pretty sure it came out of a Progresso can. And she microwaved it before giving it to me. It was barely warm and I ended up leaving it alone, unable to force it down. I ordered a chorizo burrito next and that was EXCELLENT! So good! One star for a very friendly lady working there and another star for the burrito.
