Capitola Child Care

We found CCC through several people who had recommended it, and I’m so glad we chose it. It’s a home preschool/​daycare run by a wonderful woman who loves what she does, and it shows. Yes, this is daycare, but Teresa the owner is very intentional in incorporating educational elements throughout the day. My son walks in and doesn’t look back. He’s made himself at home. He also come home with adorable crafts each day and comes home singing the songs that have been taught to him. Teresa is great with home communication and keeping parents in the loop. We love Capitola Child Care!

Teresa cares for the kids like the best grandparent, but with the energy of a teenager! :) I had avoided sending my son to a childcare center, thinking I was making the best choice for him. However, at Capitola Child Care he has started potty training, does art, works on preschool, and plays with great friends… everyday! Not to mention the amazing food, safe environment, and loving staff! Our good byes are not difficult because he’s so excited to start his day!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Teresa!!! As a Pediatric RN I was hesitant to put my child in childcare. We went for a tour to meet Teresa and the other kids. When my daughter didn’t want to leave, I knew this would be a great fit! She still doesn’t like to leave at the end of the day!!! I really appreciate how passionate Teresa is about taking care of children and making sure each kid gets a lot of attention. She even sends me pics during the day and has a private FB page so we can see what the kids did during the day! Even better you can watch the kids live with private connection to home camera!
My daughter is now like family with Teresa’s own family and always hugs them all goodbye! Definitely recommend getting on wait list if you are looking for the BEST of the BEST!
