Mikcos Party Rentals

I rented several tables and chairs for a baby shower and I found the price reasonable. I did have some trouble narrowing down the time the chairs would be delivered and picked up, but I finally received confirmation the day before the event. The day of the event Al was early delivering the items, and was very friendly and courteous. He also arrived on time to pick up the tables and chairs.

We rented tables, chairs, and a moon bounce from Mikcos for a function. They were difficult to communicate with (no one answered there phone or email). I tried to add a tent to our order the day before our event because of the weather. I got an email confirmation of my order. On the day of our event, they showed up 35 minutes *AFTER* the event started – that’s right, we had no place for anyone to sit, no tables, and no moon bounce. They had packed the truck and delivered the items we had ordered for the even the previous year – not the items we’d ordered for this year. They also didn’t seem to have any idea that I’d added a tent to the order and did not bring one (despite the email confirmation that I received). Our event ended at 2:00 pm. Their contract requires that their materials be attended at all times until they pick it up. Their contract allows them (an already ridiculous) 3 hour window after the scheduled event end time to pick up the equipment. Even that generous window wasn’t enough. No one from Mikcos showed up until 7:45 – nearly 6 hours after the event ended. To make matters even more annoying, no one answers the phone at either of their numbers, no one provides a cell phone number, and no one responds to emails. There are plenty of party rental companies out there. We won’t be using Mikcos again. I’d advise you to stay away.
