4 Broke Sisters

HIDDEN GEM and woman-​owned small business! I stumbled upon this store today while out thrifting, and fell in absolute love! They have many, many items for women (clothing, shoes, house-​made and manufactured jewelry, accessories) and home, as well as a sizable kids’ section (clothing, accessories, toys), and a few rows of mens’.
All of the items seemed to be in excellent shape, and they offer discounts throughout the store (e.g. 10% off all jewelry, 2 for $ 5 plus get third item free, $ 1 and 50¢ rummage bins). They also have «frequent shopper cards» at the checkout – for your first 9 visits you get a stamp, then money of your 10^th visit.
The shop owner – who was one of the four sisters from the namesake – was so friendly, down-​to-​earth, and helpful, assisting me extensively in finding shirts in specific colors for work – but not at all hovering. I felt very welcomed and comfortable.
I ended up buying four items (pictured) for both work & play, and my boyfriend scored two new pairs of jeans, too! We are definitely planning to return soon.
