A fascinating and fun store! There is no gristle in Rick’s stock, it’s all prime, but fairly priced, with some great bargains to be had. Rick and his staff are really helpful — the very kind lady behind the counter was able to find me another set of 65 year old Japanese export S&P shakers my daughter had loved, but I foolishly hesitated on. A great find!

Great place! I went in this past weekend and was blown away by all the cool stuff they had. I am a collector of old signage and car signage and found so many neat hard to find items. I have to find a place to hide them from my wife! :)

What a great little gem to have in the area. I found Rick’s Trading Post here on Unilocal and we deciding to go check it out, just thinking we were going to browse. Rick is very personable and helpful. He has a really nice selection of items (plan on a good hour to browse) but not so crowded that you can’t possibly see everything. We ended up purchasing several smaller items and enjoyed our conversation with Rick. We absolutely will be going back occasionally to see what other goodies Rick has come across.

I have not had the privilege of visiting Rick’s Trading Post, but have had, quite thankfully, the privilege of using Rick and his Trading Post associates to plan, coordinate, and execute an estate sale in October of 2015.
Rick was always thoughtful, sensitive to the family, and quite knowledgeable about the items he was selling for us. There was never a doubt that he knew what he was doing and that the outcome would exceed the expectations.
Best of all though, was the ease of working with Rick and his genuine sense of humor. He made an otherwise tough time not only bearable, but enjoyable and educational.
Despite living in Pennsylvania, I feel I always have a friend in Fort Myers, Florida.

Imagine a place where just about anything can be found. Seriously, anything. Need NASA Kennedy Space center pictures along with Florida Highwaymen art? This is most definitely your stop. I couldn’t believe the kindness of these folks, they allowed me to get some really neat photographs for my classroom without breaking the bank. They’re super knowledgable too! I’ll be here on a monthly basis for sure. When you stop in be sure to ask about Walter, and no not the Walter mentioned by The Kinks — then again, he might as well have been.

My son and I often go out to Rick’s because we are collectors and you never know what we’re going to find there. This store is full of unusual pieces that you just can’t find just any where. We’ve never been disappointed and it’s always been worth the ride for us to drive to Ft. Myers from Estero to check this place out.
We saw Ricks post on Facebook today and rushed out there and picked up some great bargins. If you’re a collector and not following Rick’s Trading Post on Facebook you’re missing the boat.
As a Realtor I’m always working with out of town clients who have just bought a new home, who are often looking for unusual decorating pieces. I always recommend a trip to Ricks. If you don’t see what you’re looking for today, give Rick a call he might be coming in tomorrow.
