We relocated to Canton in May, 2012 and changed our name to Second Debut.

I’ve consigned here several times and had great experiences. Jane, the owner, is kind and honest; she even convinced me not to consign some earrings that she thought were real pearls and I thought were costume!
I moved to Canton from Boston and was happy to find this shop that unlike the shops I went to in Boston, accepted items that were work appropriate are more suitable to people in their 30s and 40s. The shops in Boston just seemed to want clothing for small sized people in their 20s.
I would definitely recommend consigning here. Jane has helped me regain some closet space and I feel better knowing that some one else can use clothing that is no longer useful to me– and earning some cash for it is a plus too!

I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of pieces for sale in this shop, especially the handbags and jewelry. I do not frequent consignment shops, but they’ve been around for awhile and clearly know their local consumer.
Worth checking out.

I’m writing this to warn anyone considering using this store for consignment.
I thought I’d give this recently revamped and newly managed shop a try. I had success with the previous owner who was a sweetheart.
The new owner is a lying thief. Bring your clothing elsewhere! Initially, she was very vague about the pricing structure. I had a funny feeling when she kept asking me for more items, and refused to tell me how she priced things that something was up.
When the agreement came due, again, she was vague about what had sold, didn’t have the paperwork, (right), and it took two weeks of calling to get a check. I brought in Coach shoes, Alexander Wang dresses — over 30 items that she gushed over, and got $ 135.00.
With the previous owner, I brought in 10 – 15 items at a time and received checks averaging $ 250 – 300.
Don’t waste your time here — you are better served donating your unwanted items than dealing here. The prior owner would be horrified.

Second Debut is a wonderful addition to Canton. The space has been renovated and always has new items to offer. The staff is terrific, Jane is always a pleasure. If you haven’t checked it out, it’s worth your time and effort.
