We are a full service mechanical shop. We do basic maintenance, brakes, oil changes, alignments, tires, a/​c, check engine lights, tune ups… We also have a full service body shop, with a frame machine, measuring system,& heated semi down draft booth. We also sell used cars. We are a one stop shop.

History

Established in 1983.

Joe Leland opened the shop after working for Woodward Springs for several years. Marty Visnick joined him in 1987, after Visnick’s of Mattapan closed.

I chose Leland & Visnick because I read good reviews in Unilocal.And I am happy that I chose Leland & Visnick. They skilfully repaired my car, not mentioning they dealt with the appraisal and insurance company directly. The owners are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable, and very serious on what they are doing. I am not a native English speaker and I did not understand how do things work, but the owners and staff patiently explain everything to me, and I am very grateful.
It took them 3 weeks to fix my car, but I totally understand that there were so much things they have done behind the scene. I would say, if you could give them time, they will give you back good quality.
I strongly recommend Leland & Visnick.

Joe and the staff at Leland And Visnick were very helpful and did the job for a very reasonable rate. I showed up there with two busted headlight assemblies and no working headlights, and the very next day they got the parts and had my car fixed up by the end of the day. They were courteous and professional and even offered me a ride to work. I highly recommend them and will go back for my auto body needs.

I took my car there based upon recommendations from friends and was happily surprised with the results! Before some idiot ran a stop sign and took off my front bumper I had some custom paint work done (classy not crazy) which I worried would not be replicated to match the first bumper perfectly; they did an excellent job! You can not tell the car was ever in a accident and the bumper matches perfectly. I highly recommenced them (as do my friends)

I brought a car here a few years ago that had body damage on the front, rear, and driver’s side. They had so much trouble matching the paint color that they ended up painting the entire car. The quality of the paint job was poor and featured plenty of orange peel, solvent pop, fisheyes, and even an eyelash embedded in the paint! The paint job was sloppy too. Around moldings and in seams you could easily see the car had been painted. Shortly after the car was painted I noticed the door making a hollow sounding noise when I closed it. I brought it back to them and they told me I was closing the door too hard. They later admitted they had not put enough sound deadening material in the door. I don’t think I’ll be bringing my car back here. Very disappointing as several friends had highly recommended this place.
