History

Established in 2013.

Ruzanna Seelig — is a professional and experienced teacher — choreographer with BA degree in Choreography, which she obtained at the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov (2003 – 2007, Kazakhstan).

Highly qualified teaching staff in Academy has carried out her training: docents and professors, Honored Artists and People’s Artists of USSR, Russia and Kazakhstan — all of them are followers and contributors to Russian Ballet School System.

Moving to United States in 2008, she began working with Rhythmic Academy of Los Angeles in 2011, teaching ballet classes to rhythmic gymnasts. In 2013 Ruzanna also started the classes of her own, in order to expand her limits and finally start to realize her dream — to establish real Russian Ballet School in Los Angeles.

She offers ballet classes to all age groups (ages 3 to adults), and all levels (beginners/​recreational to professional). Ruzanna also offers private lessons as well.

Ruzanna was born in Kazakhstan, in 1987, in a very artistic family. She started to take ballet and folk dance lessons at the age of 9. After completing high school, in 2003, Ruzanna got admitted to the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov, pursuing her BA degree in Choreography. She received her degree with distinction in 2007, scoring 5 out of 5, which placed her at the top of her class. In 2008 Ruzanna moved to the United States and now resides with her husband in Los Angeles, CA.

Ruzanna is a follower of Russian Ballet School System. She believes that one can reach results by means of discipline, encouragement, good work, and proper training. All these principles she applies to her work with kids and adults. She truly cares about each and every of her students, giving them all she knows and doing everything in order to help them be the best they can be.
