He is also the conga player and band leader of the L.A. based Salsa band «Orquesta Son Cache».

I love this guy!
Alejandro is a great teacher, he’s so much fun and always upbeat, as well as super patient so is awesome for all levels. I’ve taken his class at Red Hot Ballroom which is a big group of people, as well as one of his salsa/​chacha/​bachata 2 hour workshops in North Hollywood at the Madilyn Clark studio. It’s a really nice big space with nice floors and mirrors.
There’s always a huge variety of levels, so it’s a comfortable environment for beginners and is inspiring to see people who are more experienced. Plus you don’t need to bring a partner, and there’s always a good male/​female ratio unlike a lot of other dance classes.
Highly recommended.
