I wish there was an option of Zero or Negative stars. Horrible experience dealing with them. My warranty company contracted these guys to come and fix a little leak near the AC. Since then it has been a down hill interaction. Their technician came and I dont know what he did but my Zones stopped working after his visit. I was without AC for many days. From the time he stepped in his target was to sell more services — «this can be wrong, that needs to looked into»…it was like they just want your money and sell you more services by scaring you with more problems. The technician talks one thing and the office folks talk one thing… they are totally not in sync, this leads to he said, she said and you — the customer — is the one doing the job of getting both of them on the same page. What prompted me to write this review was a phone call with someone in their office — if you want to know what exactly should NOT be done in customer service — please talk to them. I have asked them not to do anything with my AC unit. I would not do business with them again.

I had called Supreme Air Systems to do maintenance service of HVAC system in my house. Gary did an excellent and professional job.

well, now I see why all the 1 star ratings…
and yes i am screaming, i paid close to 11,000.00 for my heating and a.c. unit, installed new in 2006.
yesterday i called them, they came out to look at the heater as to why it will not start. there is a part that costs $ 500.00+ and it is back ordered for 6 to 8 weeks. the house is at 48 degrees and freezing at night,
soooooo, what did they say, well we can install a new unit, well, i don’t have another 8 to 10 k to do that, so that was that.
i am furious, the owner alan sennert, never even called me, and he knows how very ill i am. i am 71 years old.
i don’t know what i am going to do at this time, but i d o n o t recommend this company,
the heater is only 8 years old and now it’s no Good???
rated them a 2 star as during the time the unit worked, each year when i paid $ 250.00 to have it cleaned it was fine.
i did have trouble with the a.c.outdoor unit where they had to come 3 or 4 times till the leak was fixed.

I had Supreme Air Systems put in new duct work, a new heater and do insulation work for me at my home in Monterey. I was very pleased with the outcome and the quality of work. Alan, the owner has an excellent group of technicians that do excellent work. I was very pleased with the outcome. So pleased I am now having Supreme Air Systems look at some work at another home of mine.

I’m not sure why these negative reviews on Unilocal but I had the best experience with this company. They installed brand new furnace 8 years ago. It worked without any problems for 8 years. Recently weird noises were coming out of the furnace so I called to schedule an appointment. They came on time, calling me 30 minutes before the arrival so that gave me enough time to come from work. I had two technicians working on the furnace. First Alan and then Will did the thorough cleaning. Both were very nice, helpful and worked very clean. The price was reasonable, I did not have feeling that I was being ripped off.
Alan gave me an advise on how to save money on gas and Will told me that they work on a water heaters too.
I cannot give them other rating than 5 stars
PS: Will stayed late to finish the cleaning job instead of the fact that his son was sick that day and his wife needed to go to work. You don’t see this kind of service often.

Fidelity sent them to my home. From the time he landed, it looked like he just wanted to make extra money. He said that the unit was not maintained and that he will send the report to fidelity. The problem was that there were some wasp nets. I would have to pay $ 400 extra to remove that. Anyways, I paid it. Then I found out that I could have got it removed by any handyman for just under a 100 bucks.
Then he wanted to sell Xoom gas to me. Luckily I did not sign up.
I have an old digital thermostat in which I can just set the temperature (not the one where I can turn on/​off at certain times of the day). I asked him how much does that cost. He said that they have it and it is around $ 350! This time I was almost convinced that it should be cheaper elsewhere. I said that I will check it out in Home Depot and let him know if I want from him. I was aghast to learn that it is only $ 26 (incl tax) in HD. Even the Nest one that works with iPhone is $ 250. I got from HD and it is working great.

Very suspect business model. We just moved into our new house and our AC went out. But the good news is we had a warranty so we called up the warranty company. They send out this company and their first repairman says that he can’t fix our problem but he’ll call someone to take a look at it. The second «repairman» comes out two hours later and he’s really a sales man trying to tell us that we need a whole new system that will cost $ 5000 to $ 8600. But the good news is our warranty will cover the first $ 250. I told him no thank you and immediately called our realestate agent. He told us not to buy anything and let him make some calls. Long story short, another company came out fixed a couple wires, showed us how to clean our AC and what will need to be replaced in a couple of years. After that our AC was up and running. It looks like this company started off good but has taken a different direction. Avoid like the plague.

These guys were awful! Home warranty led us to these this joke of a company and they are nothing but scammers! Run as fast as you can from these guys!!!

If I could give negative stars, I would.
They came out to evaluate what was wrong with my AC unit, since it had been leaking. My home warranty with fidelity had contracted them to come out.
The guy was nice enough, and seemed to know what he was doing. During the time he was there, I only had one issue — he originally said that my refrigerant was low, and when I asked how he knew (just because I was curious), he showed me the meter out back that he set up. Turned out, it wasn’t low at all, and this ‘little mistake’ would have cost more than $ 100 to fix something that wasn’t broken.
After that point though, he seemed to know what he was doing, and said I would hear back within 24 hours regarding if fidelity would cover the issue.
After waiting close to 120 hours, I called fidelity, who said they hadn’t heard from supreme air systems at all. Hmm. Supposedly, they would call and get back to me within the day.
Two days later, I called back, to find that supreme air systems had given a partial report, but not the whole thing. More waiting. Mind you, it’s hot and the AC doesn’t work.
Today, I finally got a call from fidelity saying that they have the full report. Apparently the report says that they looked at the evaporator coil (LIE #1 — he wouldn’t even take the cover off to look at it, claiming it was too time intensive). Also, the report said that we needed refrigerant (LIE #2), and that they gave us a pound of refrigerant. (WHAT!!! Lie #3!!!)
It seems like they lost the actual report (since I have it, I know exactly what it says), and made up random stuff when fidelity called, resulting in us having to cover the entire claim, based on their lies.
Please do not use this service; they are terrible.

Second time working with this company. I chalked up the first issue to miscommunication. Unless something is obviously wrong, I will give anyone a second chance. These guys won’t get a third chance from me. If you’re wise, you won’t use them to begin with. I’d give you more details, but trust me it won’t matter. I will say the technician, Bailey, was a good guy.

Supreme Air Systems installed the heating/​cooling system in our home before we bought it. In hindsight, the person who built our home probably didn’t make the best choice in choosing Supreme Air to do the work, and we’ve been stuck with the downside of his choice for many years. Unfortunately, we didn’t figure out all the things that were done incorrectly till recently and it’s been an expensive and time-​consuming process to try and fix the problem (still not sure it’s fixed).
Installation issues:
1) When performing the installation of the radiant system with 4 zones, only two of the zones were installed with manifolds and flow-​control valves. Two zones were installed directly into the system with no ability to control the flow.
2) One of the loops serving the living room, was incorrectly tied to the thermostat that controlled the guest bedroom! For 7 years, we couldn’t figure out why the living room never got warm enough!
3) The PEX piping for the radiant in the crawlspace was completely un-​insulated (and the owner told me that they doesn’t need to be insulated, when I can feel the heat emanating from the return pipes — just sending dollars and energy down the drain.
Service Issues:
1) First time we had them out for maintenance all the service person did was blow off the dust and clean out air filters. Didn’t do any of the flushing that they were supposed to do (and I didn’t know any better the first time)
2) Scheduling — confirmed via email for the service date. Get a call from their office the day before the scheduled date, saying they’re running late. I explained that they’re not supposed to be there today, but tomorrow. Scheduled for morning, arrived in the afternoon.
3) Charge $ 140/​hr (discounted rate of $ 125/​hr) PER PERSON. Show up in teams of TWO people. So now you’re paying $ 250/​hr minimum and possibly $ 280/​hr.
4) Service Personnel aren’t the most well trained. Assembled the blower fan incorrectly once, wired incorrectly once — all adding up to more time (at $ 250/​hr)
5) Their equipment for flushing had a leak and couldn’t generate the proper pressure. Took additional time to make it work.
6) Even though they did the original installation, they had no idea or plans for it. Took hours to reverse engineer (and ultimately I had to help figure it out) that the installation had been done incorrectly, and that part of one zone was wired to the wrong thermostat!
The other negative reviews on Unilocal about this company are probably accurate and believable given my experience. Overall, very disappointing to have had to work with Supreme Air and cannot recommend them (and in fact would recommend against using them). Hope to find a better vendor for maintenance/​service in the future.

Now that the work is done, I had to come back and reiterate what I said earlier about all the critics sounding more like competitors.
We now have a new furnace, new duct work, and new attic insulation, and we are extremely satisfied with the friendliness, professionalism, and product quality provided by Supreme Air Systems. We are now looking forward to using Supreme Air Systems for solar panel installation.

If I could give no stars I would. I spoke to a lady named Stephanie (the owner) and she was the rudest b — - I had ever spoken to. I called to set up an appointment previously and when I called back to see where my technician was, she claimed that the appointment was for another day. Lie #1. I took the day off to wait for them only to hear some BS story.
For someone to be the owner, she should be fired because she acted like she didn’t like what she was doing. The other girl Erin was very nice on the phone (I feel sorry for that girl) and helped me when I initially called to set up the appointment. If I had got that tramp on the phone, I would have never done business with them.
I should have known better than to do business with a company who’s website looks like my 5 year old set it up. Are they kidding? Who runs this company and why are they still in business? No professional representation and they need to get rid of Stephanie. Owner or not, she is bad for business, her attitude stinks and she is probably why there are so many bad reviews on Unilocal.Needless to say, I cancelled my appointment and went with Valley Heating and Cooling.
Take heed and don’t use this cheap company.

Worst experience with a business I ever had. If a Carlos (Sales Rep.) takes to you, tell him he is full of it!
To date (unit installed in 2006) does not work correctly. Had an efficient unit put in, but never installed according to what Carlos promised. He saidiIt would heat a 2300 sq-​ft unit efficiently (including upstairs). Still upstairs cold and downstairs too HOT. Then, I call around and find out that Supreme Air never did the correct install. No wonder the City to date has not passed their inspection. Word of advise, do not pay anything to them (that is if you decide to go with them) until they get the city inspection done.
That summer (2007), the A/​C exchanger coils leaked on first use and got water on the base and oxidized it. They repaired it, but what a mess!
I also decided to give them a chance on their tankless water heater. To date, I still have problems. Now, I will be spending close to $ 500 to have it repaired and correctly installed.
STAY AWAY from these crooks! No call from Carlos when I kept trying to reach him. Here is what he said, «I only do the selling, now it is the techs problem, not mine». Crap, you should be ashamed Carlos. As a sales person, you honestly need to say up front that «I can’t guarantee the techs can do a good job, and also, I can’t promise you I will be around to support you! I this old house, we recommend you tear a wall down, and have the intake for the upstairs routed on a different zone». I had no problem paying, but idiot do the right job!
Now I have a HVAC unit that I spent over $ 11,000 and it does not do the job it is suppose to.

Twice now they have called trying to sell us their services. These people obviously are not paying attention to the do not call lists.

Got a spam call today from Supreme Air Systems, soliciting «furnace service.»
I told him I’m on every possible «do not call» registry.
His response: «I’m excited for you.»
Then he hung up before I could tell him to take me off his «list.»
I was going to complain to his management, but after looking at the Unilocal reviews, seems unlikely that would make a difference.

Received a sales call this morning from this company. The person on the other line asking me me. I asked who was calling, he said Supreme Air Systems.
He started giving me his sales schpeil. I told him I was not interested and kindly told him that we were on the do not call list. He asked me again who I was and then RUDLY hung up on me.
I called back to get the name of the owner of the company, he asked, do you have a pen? I said yes. He gave me the number, asked if I had the number I said yes. He then hung up on me AGAIN.
I called the parent company in Campbell, CA spoke to a the agent on the phone and made a formal complaint.

Caveat emptor! Unfortunately, the furnace manufacturer recommended I use their associate Supreme Air.
They removed about $ 12K in near-​virginal equipment, replacing it with Unico, their supplier/​affiliate, with about $ 17K in new stuff. The house doesn’t heat any better, and the A/​C has never stayed on long enough to test it.
They tied in two 110-​volt breakers to «make a 220-​volt» one. Einsteinian! Safe, too.
I left pleasant voicemails to come fix this, but they never called back — intil they wanted some more work months later!
The City Inspector required a new permit, a state-​licensed electrician, and paying for said electrician to sit on his fanny waiting for the inspector. All for a $ 10 part that Supreme Air Mickey-​moused together, one that I colda/​shoulda put in myself, seriously. I’m out over $ 600 for that, and the AC units look very nice. Too bad I dont have large quantities of paper to weight.
Just Say No to Supreme Air and their funky Unico heating/​cooling sytems.
Energy efficient? Not! I still wish I have my 1943 MARS tank of a furnace, that never failed until a $ 132 safety gas valve stopped, so I replaced it myself and fixed that.
Are most contrators everywhere like this, or have I just had a bad run of ‘em?

These guys will rip you off if they get the chance. I had a furnace problem and called my home warranty company up, so they sent me Supreme Air Systems. I had to pay the initial service check up fee to the home company and gave that check to Supreme Air Systems. S.A.S recommended the furnace needs cleaning and I made another appointment for that service with them. They came and cleaned my furnace for an additional $ 140, then recommend I replace the furnace. (Hmm… why wouldn’t you just recommend that I replace it after the initial service check up or before you clean it?) I thought to myself. So they went ahead and try to sell me their deals and what not. I was already aggravated with them so I just to told them I’d think about it.
Oh…and now I get bills from my home warranty company stating that they never received that check for the initial service check up fee.

It is too bad that Supreme Air Systems has received so many negative ratings. I have found their service technicians to be very professional and the work is always performed as I expect.

It has been a while since I last posted about Supreme Air’s office help. I had a good conversation with the owner about my experience and impression it left. He took it to heart and has inspired his team. They are very responsive and as friendly as ever. Thanks for listening to your customers.
Again, the work is ALWAYS excellent, on time and the costs are in line with other service providers.
I have them come out twice a year (Spring and Fall) to service my units. I believe it has saved me several thousands of dollars in energy costs and I know that they are ready for the grueling seasons of use.
