Seriously. SJ Bridge Center monopolizes the majority of the parking spots at 1300 White Oaks. Talk about your bad neighbors.

Well, most people there are easy to deal with. Considering it is Bridge, some players are a bit crotchety, over the littlest things. You get the best behavours with the worst. If you have a current partner (or two), you’ll be much better off than if they need to pair you up. People that I’ve been paired with either had no patience (then held on to a bidding error, I made, for 2 weeks until she saw me again the next time I came) or didn’t know the difference between King and a Five.
The directors do the best they can, considering. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them. I’ve probably been there a total of 10 times, but enjoy it much more when I meet one of my partners there.

My game has improved significantly. Several very good players.
15 games a week. Most of the time, you can just walk in and pickup a partner.
Most importantly, people are very friendly. All of the directors are good. They will help introduce you to other players.
