History

Established in 1971.

Larry Goldberg opened up Lawrence Contract Furnishers (as it was originally named) here in his hometown of Campbell. His plan was to give his neighbors the best value for their money. Good honest pricing with an understanding that value and style makes a house a home. It turned into a family owned business when Larry’s son Michael joined the store in 1978. Michael and his team closely manage and service Commercial accounts such as Property Managers and Commercial Buildings.

Michael grew up in the Flooring and Furnishings industry as his father, Larry, started Lawrence Contract Furnishers (as it was originally named) over 45 years ago. After graduating from UCLA in 1978 Michael joined the family business which, at the time, offered Window Coverings and Flooring for Commercial accounts and Homeowners. Michael immediately took over the Commercial Flooring Department and expanded it with his extensive knowledge of contract flooring and his acuity to the needs of commercial customers. He also built the Furniture Showroom which became widely known for quality Home Furnishings at value pricing. Michael loves the Flooring and Furnishings industry and prides himself on the relationships and friendships he has built over the last 38 years.
