I’ve been with Kelly for a year AMAZING business owner and the easiest in the word to talk to about ANY concerns. What is even better she doesn’t make you scream in PAIN. if you are considering getting a brazilian service i suggest you start with someone who is GREAT at doing it! Thanks Kelly!!!

Kelly is sooo awesome! I had multiple waxings done at her place and she really takes the time to see what your preferences are. She gives you her professional opinion but asks a lot of questions to see what you like to make sure you are happy in the end. She makes me feel really comfortable and it is painless! I love her!

I like that she had a Unilocal deal, since I would not have come otherwise. Now i’m a lifelong (as long as I live here!) customer. Parking was really easy, there’s spots usually right out front.

I just realized I’ve never left a review for Kelly after being her customer for almost 2 years. I go to her (in Campbell) all the way from Mountain View because it took a lot to find someone this good for Brazilian waxes, and I think it’s rare. I’ve tried several places in the bay and other areas I’ve lived, and the biggest problems I’ve found included not REALLY cleaning up everything, tons of redness/​neglecting the aloe, and my least favorite: those who wax ALL the hair in one shot and you want to shoot yourself. She has none of these issues. She dedicates an hour to all clients and tweezes (if you want), tries different waxes to find the best for you, and is very professional and also very flexible. She has never once tried to sell me anything. And on top of all that, she’s also really pleasant to chat with, which is a nice distraction & makes the time go by faster :)

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for Kelly yet. It’s hard to find someone you trust to rip hair from your body, and even harder to find someone you trust doing your brows! But back in July, I turned to Unilocal to find a new esthetician since I had recently moved to San Jose.
I’m so happy to have found Kelly. She is knowledgeable, sweet, easy to talk to, and very good at what she does. And you can’t beat her prices! Her online appointment scheduling is so easy and extra convenient too. I will continue visiting Kelly every couple of weeks to make my brows perfect. Thanks Kelly!

MEN, as our culture changes, so must we. This isn’t the 1972 anymore, you cant walk-​around with furry arms and bushy eyebrows (beards are still ok). Kelly has been able to cleanly whisk away hairs that are unnecessary in life. Per my request, she does so in a manner that the average person can’t even tell that I have been waxed (not once have I been teased by the guys on my hockey team, as they can’t tell). What is as important as the average person not noticing, is that the one closest to me does notice (my fiancé). She appreciates my efforts to be presentable, and I appreciate Kelly’s execution in not making me look metro. Kelly gives me a natural look, a clean look.

After reading all the positive reviews I decided to try Kelly’s Wax Spa. I have been to numerous waxing establishments in the past. Kelly was kind, knowledgeable, and concerned for my well-​being and comfort. The spa atmosphere was comforting and relaxing. I was grateful for her hygenic practices and a cleanly environment. Most impressive was her waxing abilities: It was the least painful waxing I have ever experienced and the final product was perfection.
I highly recommend Kelly’s Wax Spa.

I went to Kelly because the reviews I saw on Unilocal.I wanted to get a bikini wax before my honeymoon and was nervous. Kelly made me completely comfortable and the wax barely hurt. I even took my sister back a few days later because I liked her so much.
Her place is hard to find because the storefront doesn’t say Kelly’s Wax Spa it says Beautify your Skin. Kelly has a room with in this establishment. The room is clean and inviting. She takes the time to get to know you and your skin. She even gave me sample of an ingrown hair serum to try.

I went to Kelly for a brow wax and I’m very pleased with my brows. She is really sweet and very easy to talk too! Will definitely be coming back

After a cross country summertime move last year I was eager to have a Brazilian and maintain my current waxing schedule. I became a client of Kelly’s from her previous location and followed her to the new spa on Bascom. She is professional, prompt, clean, and quite knowledgeable. Previously I’d had less than mediocre service at spas in Philly and Kelly has definitely been on par with the quality of Bliss Spa in Manhattan while providing a comfortable, cozy atmosphere. Right away she will ask you questions about your skin care routine and discuss her approach (types of wax) before proceeding. I should also mention that I’m a complete germ phobe and her work space is just lovely. I’ve never had an issue in finding a mutually agreeable time for appointments and find myself chatting with her about everything from basic skin care to sharks games. In fact, up until 4 months ago I’ve had only one eyebrow wax and now return every three weeks or so for shaping. I’m a convert! She is phenomenal and I’m very lucky to have found such a gem!

Kelly’s Wax Spa is the perfect name for Kelly’s business because she really puts the «spa» experience into her services. Her room is tastefully decorated with a distressed dresser as her work station, the room is scented, and she even plays a bit of music. Her has a really sweet and funny demeanor as well that will put anyone at ease, even those who are feeling shy or nervous. I felt really relaxed and calm as soon as I laid down, which does make waxing more tolerable.
Kelly was very eager to find out more about my skin type. She asked about my dryness, if I was on any medications or had any topical treatments on the skin I was having waxed. She took all that in to consideration when she prepped my skin and selected the waxes she would use on me. I had never had an esthetician be so aware of my skin’s needs and the results were perfectly smooth skin with zero irritation the next day. Normally I am red for a couple days after waxing, but this time my skin was ready to be shown off within 24 hours. I will definitely go back to Kelly again.

I’ve always wanted to get a Brazilian Wax done but I’ve been scared about going somewhere because I do not know how cleanly places really are. Finally after much research and hearing about various places my friends have gone to, I decided to try Kelly’s Wax Spa @ Beautify Your Skin!
I was actually pretty nervous since I have never had this done before. I made an appointment via the online booking appointment page on their website. I really like that you can make the appointment online; it’s so convenient. Another aspect of the website that is really helpful, especially to newbies like me, is the WAXING TIPS portion of the website.
If you have never been waxed before or maybe you just don’t know… there is a preparation page to refer to. LOVED THAT!!! I would definitely recommend everyone to take a look!
During the appointment she shared a lot of information about the process and helped me understand everything. I also liked that she catered to my sensitive skin’s needs. That was awesome! When particularly sensitive parts were coming up she would tell me to breathe and then she would pull at the perfect time so that it really wasn’t uncomfortable for me. Overall I was expecting a Brazilian Wax to hurt and surprisingly enough… it really didn’t hurt! AMAZING!!! I was so surprised! This whole time I haven’t gotten one because I thought it would hurt so darn much and the cleanliness factor scared me. But now I’m so happy I have a great place to go to, where I know it’s SUPER CLEAN and it DOESN’T HURT!!! YAY!!!
At the end of the wax she gave me an exfoliating glove to wash with and instructed me when to use it. It was a nice little gift at the end.

I had a good experience with Kelly. She’s knowledgeable about her products and about what options you have for waxing (I had a Brazilian, my legs, and my underarms done), which I definitely appreciate. She’s also very approachable and professional.
She has a space in Beautify Your Skin (down the street from the Pruneyard) which is very cozy and comfortable. Ambiance is relaxing — there was a light scented something in the room, and music, Kelly took great pains to ensure my privacy and comfort.
When I came, the overhead lights weren’t covered enough and were very glaring/​harsh in my eyes; when I told her at the end of the appointment, Kelly was very apologetic about that aspect of my experience and was grateful for the feedback. She also got back to me to let me know that she has been experimenting with the lighting, so I’d imagine that this less-​than-​pleasant part of my experience may no longer apply within a few weeks. (Review has been edited to reflect my experience otherwise.)
She did a good job with everything — I was very pleased. Prices are reasonable; not inexpensive, but I’ve definitely seen worse. Her technique wasn’t as polished as I’ve had with my regular esthetician, but she was very conscious of making sure that I was comfortable, that her product was the right temperature. And it was clear to me that she wanted to make sure that it was a good experience for me — Kelly asked at regular intervals (or warned me) when she was about to wax somewhere that might be painful, or asked about the temperature of the wax on my skin, or if the strips used in the leg waxing were painful, etc.
After my leg waxing, the skin at my upper thigh appeared to bruise/​react unusually to the experience. However, Kelly made sure to explain what may have happened and amazingly, also deducted part of the cost of the leg waxing because I had very little hair on my upper thighs to wax to begin with.
The online booking system is great. I really appreciate the ability to see what availability she had, which I could compare easily to my own availability.
I already have an esthetician I see regularly, but if I couldn’t book an appointment with her for some reason, I wouldn’t hesitate to see Kelly again.

I’ve also followed Kelly to her new location. Besides being incredibly sweet and easy to talk to she is the only person who I’ve had waxing done with that doesn’t leave me with unsightly ingrown hairs.
I think her prices are very reasonable for the level of service she provides. I’ve went other places that charged more and did a shotty job of waxing.
I have very sensitive skin and have learned to really exfoliate religiously the few days leading up to an appointment. I also use this stuff called Relax and Wax: Get the Bump Outta Here before and after waxing along with more exfoliating. I had bought it from amazon but ask Kelly what/​if you should use something similar — I think she offers a similar product for sale. If you have sensitive skin let her know — she has different types/​brands of waxes she can try on you to see what works best.
I LOVE that you can schedule/​reschedule your appt online rather than having to play phone tag to get an appointment. She also let me know that if you make a referral you get a discount on your next wax — so get your friends over to Kelly as well!

I usually get my eyebrows threaded but decided to give Kelly’s Wax Spa a try because my threader seems to be pulling off more than i want these days. I’m so glad i went to see Kelly! After one session, I’m already convinced I wont be threading anymore. I’m giving her a 5 for the following reasons:
Look and Feel: The ambiance of the day spa is serene and very country like. It feels as if you’re stepping into a never ending relaxing realm. Then you walk into Kelly’s waxing room, and everything is super cute and clean. Not too much going on like some spas.
Education: I desperately want my eyebrows to grow out but dont know how and never had the patience. Kelly educated me on how my brows grow out and suggested ways to maintain them without getting rid of certain parts of my hair. If i would have known this information sooner, maybe my eyebrows wouldnt be sticks.
Care/​Comfort: When you think of waxing, you automatically think «HURT». Kelly’s wax did not hurt at all. She uses the finest wax. It’s way better than most wax places ive been to. Kelly always asked if i was comfortable and showed me everything she was doing. Now that’s what you call customer service!
Conclusion: I’m going to be going to Kelly every 3 – 4 weeks to get maintained. Go try her out! She’s new to the game, but I have no doubt she’ll have a great future in her business.

I am a seasoned esthetician and asked Kelly to wax my legs for me. She came highly recommended and the timing was right so we made an appointment. After all my years of waxing others, she did a excellent job. We talked and laughed and she was very accomodating to my needs. She was Fast, Efficient, and Clean. Her room is absolutley adorable and best of all CLEAN! I would recommend Kelly for waxing any areas. She uses hard and soft waxes, which helps when you have sensitive areas.
