I’ve worked with California Seniors Care, and have nothing but good things to say about them. They really care about their clients, as well as their caregivers. Jason goes out of his way to make sure that the client is comfortable and happy. CSC is definitely a one of a kind agency… I would recommend them to everyone!

. I have being using their service for awhile and happy and satisfied with their work so far. My Aunt like their care unlike with other places and I am not going to mention names. I would recommend people to give California Seniors Care a try.

BUYER BEWARE
I am very disappointed with the services of this company and their undelivered promises. We were with them for about 10 years, my father’s needs were much less in the past and we had moderate satisfaction, but due to health changes we are more reliant now. We were dissatisfied previous due to little involvement of caregiver with my father, but this one has been a nightmare!
WEBSITE and verbal claims are that they hire experienced workers and train, «…Must be experienced and qualified.» …“have continual training on how to care for clients.” Ours is inexperienced, untrained and no follow up to do so, and she is refusing to do as told. She claimed to have 17 years in elder care and 32 years in child care (though that has zero to do with the elderly and why it qualified her is a mystery to me). We found this out AFTER she was assigned to us. It has been a constant struggle. In re to experience the company admitted they knew stating, «To address X’s experience … the 17 was not professional experience … I would also assume that her children were part of her day care program. I did not look at the number of years and investigate their accuracy but when I interviewed her (and all applicants) I focused on whether or not she was able to answer specific care questions and how she would handle situations, regardless of experience. She is less experienced in direct home care but seems to handle caring for someone well.»
If experience is not a requirement for you, then consider other assurances stated, such as their goal to «…help preserve lifestyle, dignity… make life easier, less stressful and more enjoyable… honest, helpful and friendly…» Well the honesty part is null out of the gate — just refer to the hiring practice. Furthermore, the caregiver will not cooperate even with the simplest things, i.e. cooking food that we requested, staying within a budget, she exhibits unprofessional behavior at stores, medical clinics and such (bickering/​arguing) and worst yet does not following policies. She acts indignant and spiteful when given instruction, and has caused constant discord within our family. A myriad of emails addressing this with the company were met with little to no resolution.

The worst was behavior at my father’s dialysis clinic — not following policy set out by the administrator — and refusing us when we tried to get her in line. Jason’s response was to infringe upon our privacy by showing up for a surprise unapproved, unannounced visit at the clinic to question the administrator. Then later showing up at my father’s house in the same manner! Failure to respect not only HIPAA regs but client privacy was/​is shocking and unacceptable. A company that deals with the sick and elderly should be aware and sensitive to these matters and act to remedy family requests, rather than cause more conflict.
We had hoped to work together to fulfill our commitment to help my father live independently, he wants to maintain his life as is, though like many, he is unable to do so 100%- 88 years old, kidney failure, legally blind, with lung cancer. They do not work cooperatively in the «preservation of our lifestyle» instead they created a huge obstacle. Our father is tired and not wanting strife so he lets things go and depends on us to help him. He is distrustful of people coming into his home and questioning him so it has been difficult to have resolution without the company backing us. Claiming to preserve our dignity and offering ” … an easier life with less stress” is a deceptive sales pitch. They stripped us of dignity by allowing their employee to as she pleases and continue on her own accord!
SHOP AROUND, QUESTION THOROUGHLY, BE SURE THE COMPANY YOU CHOOSE WILL LISTEN TO ALL YOUR NEEDS AND ACT ACCORDINGLY.

I had a great experience with California Seniors Care. Jason was very helpful in making my mom and me feel comfortable with the process of hiring a caregiver. He explained all of our options, and he really took the time to understand our situation, both practically, but also emotionally.
He was also able to place someone quite skilled in a pretty short time period, which was extremely helpful. I hope not to be in the situation to need care like this again, but if I do, I would work with them again.

California Seniors Care is a professional caring team. My Grandmother loved their service and her provider LITA very much! We will definately use their services again. Hopefully, not for some time.

Calfornia Seniors Care was very helpful in answering all of my questions regarding my grandparent’s needs for home care services. My grandfather was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Jason helped outline important issues and what steps our family needed to take in order to get him the best possible care… and what options were the most affordable. They are always very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would recommend California Seniors Care to any family looking for the highest quality caregivers!
