Bentson Enterprise just replace all my windows. I have to say the job came out excellent. Paul was a great person to deal with the quoting process. quick turnaround and all. but I also have to mention the installation team, Enrigue, Jesse and Jordan, these guys did such and excellent installation job. from the inside, my wife couldn’t even tell one of the windows had already been replaced. they clean up everyday, communicated with me on a daily basis, I new what was next to complete. put this way, they went over and beyond our expectation. these guys get a 110% overall rating in my opinion. Just totally great. I would highly recommend Bentson Enterprise for all your window projects. even the cost was the best out of 4 different proposals. Job well done.

Bentson Windows just completed replacement of 7 windows and 1 sliding door via new construction installation. Tim did a great job during product selection, quotes, and placing the order. He provided great advice, was extremely responsive, and answered all of my questions. Most importantly, he provided an installation date 3 weeks out, and kept to the schedule.
His 3-​man crew did a thorough job breaking out the old siding/​stucco and only removed the windows they knew they could replace the same day. No openings left uncovered overnight. The nature of construction will create some mess and in general they did a good job of cleaning up. Unfortunately the vacuum malfunctioned one day and I came home to a living room full of dust. (–0.5 star). Lastly, there were a couple scuffs and smudges left on the windows after installation that weren’t cleaned off. (–0.5 star). If I could give these guys 4.5 stars, that would be my rating as these two issues were very minor. The crew was very courteous, showed up on time, and completed the job in 4 days. Fast, efficient, quality service.
I will gladly recommend Tim and his team to family and friends going forward.

I have to write a review to say to all of you shopping around for windows you can stop shopping and go with Bentson. My experience was great. Very friendly and professional. Gave me a quote via email and the quote didn’t change even after coming out to do their measurements. Good price too. I had a total of 10 windows and a slider. The guys who did the install were fantastic showed up on time worked efficiently and cleaned up everything afterward. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I did my due diligence in reviewed reviews and interviewing several firms but we knew immediately after our interview with Tim Bentson that we would go with his company. So it was comforting learning that his was the lowest bid as well. However, the most important part of what made this an excellent arrangement and why I am writing this review was that his team of three was exceptional – smart, efficient, neat, and easy to communicate with. They accommodated our presence and worked around us. Our particular job was challenging as we have some large palladian windows which were not symmetrical and they fit the new winds in without a problem. We still will need more windows replaced and we will hire Bentson Enterprise without hesitation.

This review is way overdue. We liked the service so much after the first few window replacements and asked them to come back to replace all of our windows for the rest of our house. Now Tim’s team has pretty much replaced all our windows, along with one set of french doors.
Tim is a good guy. He doesn’t try to push you or hard sell you. If there’s some other more economical way to address the issue, he’d also offer it.
I’ve recommended Bentson Windows to all my friends.

We recently finished a project Bentson Windows. We had 12 windows replaced via new construction installation. The sales crew was very helpful. They shared a lot of information with me regarding retro-​fit versus new construction installation. They presented different brands of windows and helped me understand the pros and cons of each brand. They helped me understand the different options I had available to me regarding UV coating and argon insulated windows.
I chose to get a bid from them and a few other companies based on Unilocal reviews. I picked for the window project because I felt they were the most honest and most eager to help us find the best window installation method and brand of windows for us.
Their construction crew was talented and courteous, and they left my house quite clean every day. The job was not easy because they had to install custom interior and exterior trims. They made the new windows match the style of our Arts & Crafts style house.
We purchased Milgard Ultra fiberglass windows. We love them. For our next window remodel we look forward to working with Bentson windows again.

Benston Windows installed in my home last summer (2013). I chose Simonton windows and the installation seems pretty good thus far. I interacted with Paul who was very helpful and patient with explaining and showing everything, understanding my criterion and providing choices. I did not find them pushing one brand over the other like some other installers did. The installation was done by Enriqe and Jesse (think I have his name right). They were both very competent and thorough. Enrique took the time to explain everything I asked him. My windows been installed a year now and I am very happy with my overall experience.

We recently got our house painted and realized that the stucco around the windows did not match the rest of the house. It made me almost sick to realize that all the money spent upgrading the windows resulted in a job where the windows had a «ring around them» because the stucco was not smoothed out. We could not tell as the stucco was patch was white, and we thought that this would be fixed with the paint. But nope. Even after the paint it was obvious… I may be OCD but that bothered me a lot.
I sent a note to Tim and he quickly responded and had his workers redo the windows facing the street, and even sent a painter to patch up the paint job. His service was prompt and he quickly set the wheels in motion to repair the problem, even though it had been 8 months since the install. Enrique is great to work with and was very helpful in answering my questions.
I’m still a fan of Bentsons windows and would recommend them for the next job. But if you are replacing the whole window, please make sure the stucco is smoothed out and matches the texture of the rest of the house.

We just finish a project with Benson window. We had a few different companies came to give us a quote before we decide to use Bentson. We like Tim right away, he is very honest about our options and gave us advice on the best style for our windows. There were some miscommunication with our new Bay window. But Tim was very responsive and helpful to come up with an agreement. His crews are professional. Enrique is great, he is very professional and he did his best to meet our needs. Overall, we will refer Bentson window to all our friends and family.

After all the glowing reviews on Unilocal I had disappointing experience with this company. After initial engagement and working with Paul on selecting patio door the process fell apart when I asked if one of labor costs could be discounted to be in line with other estimate I have received. The answer was «I think you need another vendor» and «If another company is less buy their service.» Taken a back by the tone of the email I followed up with Tim (owner) on whether he thought such response was appropriate and was politely told that he values Paul and decided to pass on the project. There you go — customer certainly not first this time.

We had decided on a window contractor and were ready to proceed and they fell apart on us. No calls back, misunderstanding our Association’s requests for information — not good at all.
My husband went on-​line to find another window contractor. After contacting several it was an easy choice to choose Bentson. Tim did everything he said he would in a very timely manner.
When his crew showed up to do the job (3 men, 7 new construction windows) they could not have been more professional. Very considerate of our family, very diligent about finishing the job before moving on to their next project.
We had one small problem with an alarm sensor being put behind the window trim. Within a few hours of my email, and on a Saturday, one of the crew came over to rectify the problem.
My neighbors actually commented on the crew and gave them praise.
I couldn’t say anything better about them and would have them work for me again. I don’t hesitate to recommend them.

The only reason I’m not giving them a five star review yet is because I have yet to actually have my windows replaced, but so far so good. When I called they were professional and timely. Paul Viewer was at my house within a week. He came prepared and showed up 5 minutes early. He explained everything in laymen’s terms and provided me materials to look at, as well as reccomendations with what would work for my situation and budget. We wanted to replace at least 5 windows and we had one widow that was new but not installed properly by another company. Paul pulled out the window, looked and guess who might have installed it and advised me to contact the company and ask them to fix it as it would likely be free of cost due to warranty. I was really impressed with his honesty, as he could have easily charged me to install it properly. Moreover, I contacted the other company and they agreed to come fix it free of charge. Paul provided me an estimate to replace the other widows and it was a fair and reasonable charge, lower than I anticipated. We will be scheduling the work at a later date and at that time I’m sure I can provide the additional star!

Tim came out right away to give us a quote. Of a total of 4 quotes, he was the best. We told him we had a deadline for the windows to be installed. We were very pleased and impressed that he met our deadline. His crew came every day for a week, showed up on time, were polite and courteous, and cleaned up beautifully every day before leaving. We were so happy with Tim and his crew, my husband had a steak BBQ for them on their last day. They were thrilled, but so were we with our new windows and the professional way that Tim’s crew managed the job.

Milguard did come and check out the doors. They found some installation problems, fixed the problems and lubricated the tracks. They only came because Bentson insisted they come. Now the doors are much easier to open and close and we are satisfied with the final product. I will probably ask Bentson to do other work for us, but doubt they will want to after reading my previous review.

We went with Benston Enterprises and could not be happier with our experience with them. On budget, on time, no headaches, clean quality work.
We got three bay windows done by them and completely changed the look of our rooms. The team was very thoughtful in the way they handled the work and our home. Clean, plastic sheets everywhere they worked, cleaned up every evening because we were living there, did not bother us for changes and scheduling. Paul was helpful and always in touch on scheduling etc. The owner came by himself as we wanted some specific design things. Came out great. Thanks.

Very happy about the installation and service received from Bentson Windows. Tim was very responsive to phone calls and helpful in determining the right windows for my home. Since my job was only for two windows, he helped reduce the installation cost by sending out one of his guys to do my installation as a side job. Would definitely go with Bentson again when i need new windows.

The Bentson Windows Company replaced four of our large windows in Santa Cruz. They were timely and did a real nice job.
Tim used his design skills to choose a better choice of window for my style of house even though that choice reduced how much we paid for them. That is admirable and I really do like the windows he picked. I am very pleased with the price I paid. In time I will have the rest of the windows done by them.
I picked Bentson from the positive reviews I found on Unilocal and now can agree with the fine qualities that were written.
