Specialties

Cedarholm Garden Bay Inn is a Maine Coast bed and breakfast inn with private luxury oceanfront cottages at the edge of Penobscot Bay just north of Camden Maine’s photographic harbor.

Great attention to detail and care has gone into creating our luxury oceanfront cottages that are set off by the sea on 600 ft of private shoreline. All are beautifully and uniquely decorated featuring private oceanside decks and wet bars. Loon and Puffin oceanfront cottages additionally feature handsome native stone fireplaces and 2 person spa tubs. 16 Acres of oceanfront property with nationally recognized eden-like gardens highlight this Bed and Breakfast Inn. The Inn is a requisite visit for the selective traveler with fine dining, unique shops, art galleries, sailing, kayaking, hiking, and biking within minutes of the Inn.

History

Established in 1995.

«This hidden sanctuary offers a tranquil setting at the edge of the sea. Ocean-view cottages sport luxurious details, such as stone fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, and private decks. Enjoy breakfast in a pretty dining room before or after a walk through gardens overflowing with blooms.» — Yankee Magazine Editors’ Choice

«A luxury-quality lodging» — Frommers

«Guests enjoy the luxuries of these gems at the sea and they abound with myriad features» Maine An Explorer’s Guide

«The spectacularly landscaped grounds of Cedarholm Garden Bay Inn are matched by the inn’s views overlooking Penobscot Bay. A stone’s throw from the deck of my comfortable cottage was a string of colorful lobster buoys bobbing gently with the incoming and outgoing tides. Each morning at sun-up I could hear the muffled sound of a lobster boat’s engine as it moved bee-like from pot to pot checking the day’s offerings. A virtual Garden of Eden sits on the property» — Chiles T.A. Larson photojournalist, and travel writer
