Definitely not my favorite pizza in the world, but some of them are not bad. I got a slice of pepperoni to go and absolutely love the way they make their crust here although the topping were a bit lack luster. What I don’t like is the area it’s located in. The neighborhoods around there are pretty sketchy and there are usually a few shady characters hanging around. I’d consider coming back here again, but it’s not high on my priority list.

I enjoy this pizza place, the staff is nice and the food is pretty good to. I love how they deal with Rutgers and the organizations making it super easy to pick up an order for any event you need. It is also around the corner from school so it makes it super easy to grab a slice as well. I have had a few different pizzas from them and I liked them all I believe it was a broccoli tomato pizza or something like that was the best. However you can’t go wrong with a regular cause I have it all the time there. So come here grab a slice or a pie and enjoy yourself you’ll be glad you did.

It’s sad when one of the very few lunch options in town disappoints, but there you have it. While Little Slice of New York doesn’t serve the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life, it’s not too far off. The two slices I had, a mushroom and a sausage, were serviceable at best. You have far better options and quality at Guido’s across from City Hall.

Best pizza place in the city! Always have fresh pizza and sandwiches made to order. The staff is very friendly and fun! Slice of NY is close to Rutgers and the waterfront. They are one of the only restaurants in downtown, and they’ve been around for over 22 years. I’ve been coming here ever since I was a student at Rutgers. The food is great, the prices are good, and it has a great neighborhood atmosphere. Definitely check it out when you’re in town!

It was gross in 1999 when I went to school at Rutgers and from reading the reviews not much has changed. The only thing I miss about this pizzeria was the laundromat next to the place.

The food was good, especially the cheese pizza and eggplant parmesean until I saw a roach crawling on the table that came from of the pizza boxes that were stacked in the back. Food is good but eat at your own risk!

A little slice of New York? Well my brothers in Philly/Camden, this is certainly not anything remotely close to New York pizza. This is the type of pizza I expect to get at the Rutgers Dining Hall, not by an actual pizza place. Top 2 best pizza you ever had in your life? Seriously? Granted those reviews are 2+ years old so maybe things have drastically changed since then. One thing I will say is that the immediate area surrounding the place is safe and the police are frequent customers, but I’d rather have Wegmans frozen pizza than this…

I once had a chicken cheese steak that was surprisingly good. I love the tax thing. They pay the tax. Its a no brainer. I guess its the hats that kinda of keep me at bay. They are really cool but very dusty.

I have to admit — I was skeptical. After all, I was born and raised in the NYC area. It’s been ingrained in my mind from an early age that NO pizza is like NY Pizza. Furthermore, I’ve come to learn that like other products advertised as «guaranteed to be genuine», pizza places that claim NYC are most often terrible disappointments. Little Slice of NY, a hole in the rather large wall that is Camden, NJ, is no disappointment. It definitely provides a most surprisingly authentic NYC pizza experience. Yummmmmm… Not to mention that it’s CHEAP! We pay $ 15 for a large pie with peppers, black olives, and peperoni(that includes a free 2L of soda — if you pick it up)! A lot of people loveeeee ‘King of Pizza’ in Cherry Hill, NJ — but I have to say that at almost 25% less of the cost, Little Slice is wayyyyy better!

There’s an old expression I was told when I started work at Camden’s waterfront office park that I’d like to preface my review with…“If you’re not at the aquarium… your life may be in danger” Yet for those of us who dodge the possibilty of a BMX bike crashing into your car or a methadone induced stampede outside the train station, there is a jewel of a pizza place within this city’s deadly embrace. Headed up by an amazing staff that will shout your order out to the dining area as you sit into what some people call the safest place in Camden… The reason being, your probably ordering or eating with Camden’s finest in da house! Not to mention the dining area is like an art gallery filled with old amazing pictures of this fair city. My favorite is the before and after picture of the establishment with picture 1 looking like a scene out of the movie New Jack City and number 2… well on to the food! You have salads loaded with a choice breaded or unbreaded chicken in huge bowls, you have pizza that actually tastes like it’s coming from NY with a great crust(ask for extra crispy) And then there’s the sandwiches made to your order, like chicken parm, cheesesteaks, roast pork with provolone… You got wings, chicken fingers.etc. It’s an amazing lunch! And lastly, you want a great deal? You got that great deal and service Thanks come again? You GD right I will!
