I would go again, but the women did not really ask how I wanted my eyebrows shaped or how much to take off. Reasonably priced though.

This place is awful. First $ 12 for eyebrows is not by any means cheap. Second this was the fastest and roughest I’ve ever had my eyebrows handled. The lady was literally sawing my eyelids off. Add to that the fact that my eyebrows look terrible even though it was just a cleanup (on the basis of an awesome shape by my fav place in LA). Will never ever be back again.

Okay, if you look at the reviews for this place, you’ll see they’re all over the place, which is essentially my experience: Sometimes, they do a GREAT – truly great – job, and you leave with perfect brows. Sometimes, they do a HORRENDOUS job, and you want to cry after you leave. It doesn’t even necessarily have to do with whom you see, as I’ve had mixed experiences with the same person (sometimes great, sometimes bad).
I’ve been coming here for more than two years, since I moved to Cambridge from New York (where I went, for years, to the excellent Shobha Threading, in Soho), and my first time I was overjoyed: My brows turned out perfectly! For $ 1‘2! No wait, no appointment. Amazing! The next visit or few were great, too. Then, perhaps a year ago, a threader basically took off half my eyebrows. It was truly awful and extremely unflattering; and took ages to grow back (looking awful as the hair grew in). I thought the problem was this one person, so I simply avoided her, and found a person (whoever is there on Fridays), who seemed great. But then, last week, I went and saw her, and she did a terrible job, completely rushing through the process, and leaving me with two eyebrows of completely different shapes. Like, noticeably different shapes. (My eyebrows, I should add, ARE two different shapes; but when I get them threaded, the threader usually corrects this and makes them looks the same, or similar. This person made them look more different.) I’m completely confused about what to do: Do I go back, to a different person, and have her fix them? (As I look demented right now.) Do I find another place? But, in short, I can’t fully recommend Thread & Shape.

This place consistently makes my eyebrows too thin. I’m always extremely vocal about wanting them to be as thick as possible, and I even point out the specific hairs I want removed. It’s not just one time, it’s everytime. I’m done with Thread & Shape.

She admitted taking too much hair from my brows and recommending that I just let it grow back. I only asked to clean my brows. When she realized that I was right; she was not empathetic, didn’t apologize, nor accommodated me. Never again! Can I give 0 stars! Now, I’m walking around with uneven eyebrows.

I’ve been coming to this location to see Renu and she’s totally worth the trip to Harvard Sq. She takes her time and does a great job. I’m always amazed by how she creates a natural looking arch when I don’t really have one. I believe she’s there on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (?) but always call ahead to confirm. Prices are reasonable and the place is always clean. I’m usually in and out in 15 minutes.

This is the only place I’ve been to get my eyebrows threaded since moving to Cambridge, but I have no desire to find another threading salon. This place is cheap and does a nice job. They don’t over thread like some other places I’ve been to. There’s always someone different each time I go, so my brows do tend to be a little different each time, but that doesn’t bother me. No appointment necessary. The most I’ve ever waited was 5 – 10 minutes.

The lady was very rude. I understand she may have a long and bad day. But it doesn’t mean you can speak very loudly and impatiently (almost yell at) to your customers. I was asking her if there is a student discount here. She said they have another location around here that has the discount. I asked where it is cuz I never know they have two stores here. She said right outside the station. I was not sure where she meant. So I asked for details. She spoke very rudely to me saying «don’t you understand?! Do you know where the station is? It’s right outside the station. Once you get off you see it!» I’m not complaining about their service but hope they have some one who is also polite to customers.

I complained about eyebrow threading in Boston in my review for Thread & Shape’s other location. This one is also mediocre at best, but slightly better in my opinion. The Indian woman who works there does eyebrows fairly quickly, though she still cuts my skin fairly often.
I’ve walked in at random hours of the day and been surprised to find a wait. The wait’s never long, but who gets their eyebrows done at 11:30am on a Tuesday? Aside from me, of course. If the Indian woman is there, sometimes I’ll wait — if she’s not, I definitely will not get my eyebrows done there.
After 4 years of living in this city, I finally (!!) found decent threading — the Cambridgeside Galleria is slightly better, and I just found one in Central (on Prospect st, the first block north of Mass Ave). Here’s hoping that they stay decent!

This place is cheap, clean, and efficient. I was in and out the door in 10 minutes and paid $ 12 for eyebrow threading.

I’ve sadly gone through years of horrible plucking and random stylists threading my eyebrows. I finally decided exactly what type of eyebrows I wanted — full and arched — and went here to continue the growing out process while keeping it maintained. Now, I don’t think I can ever move away from Boston because they’re the only ones I’ll let touch my brow.

Excellent service for a very good price! Very kind and skilled staff, too. This is my new regular place for threading. :)

This is my regular place to get my eyebrows done. Sunita does my eyebrows here. She is so nice on it, always ask me how do I like my brows, friendly and takes her time to give proper shape.
Everybody who works there there are good, but I always wants her to get done, I don’t need to explain how do I like my brows, she knows and she is quick and gentle on it. Every one wants to be perfect so do I. Im so satisfied and definitely visit her again

$ 12 for eyebrow threading is a downright bargain in Boston.
. I believe they take appointments, but I was told just to walk in when I called in the middle of the day. I went on a Thursday night at around 5pm and it was empty. There was one threader there and she took me immediately. It had been a good, long while since I’d done anything to my eyebrows (eek), and I appreciated the time she took to thread and trim my eyebrows back to perfection.
I’ll definitely be going back!

I really like this place. I’ve been going to thread and shape for the last couple months to get my brows threaded and they have never looked better. I always see Renu and she is a magician. I have very sparse brows but somehow she is able to remove just the right amount of hair and give my brows just the right shape so they look fuller; it’s like an optical illusion. T&S has great customer service! They always answer the phone, are very polite and attentive, Renu really takes her time and always makes sure I’m happy with the result. The price is good at $ 12 for brows, not the lowest I’ve seen but really good for thread/​wax in the Cambridge/​Boston area and totally worth it for some beautiful brows. My most favorite thing of all is that this place offers the least painful threading I’ve ever had. Threading notoriously «hurts less» than waxing but I’ve had some painful threads before but it’s not bad at all at T&S. I’m not sure if it’s a different technique, if she’s doing less hairs at a time, or if the thread is smaller but whatever the case may be I’m sold!!!
