I have to say that her pictures are excellent and she does excellent portraits. She does the pictures of our kids at school (hired by the school) every year.
She offers packages that are quite expensive but, for no reason, she doesn’t include the digital files. I’m not asking for the originals. She could even be providing watered down versions (lower quality) in the package but no, she charges for them at very very expensive prices.
After purchasing a package, I wrote to her asking for the digital files. I asked for two files and she wrote back asking for more than $ 100 dollars. My response was obviously no. She lost a business opportunity there.
This year I also learned that the packages don’t include the digital files but only the printed pictures. Someone should tell her we live in the age of Facebook, Twitter and email. Grandparents and family members may enjoy seeing the pictures on their computers instantly.
The price for an extra digital file if you purchase a package: $ 38 dollars.
If not purchasing a package: $ 79 dollars
Makes no sense to me. Thats why, although she is a good photographer with a great eye for portraits, she isn’t very savvy with her prices and clients.
I would definitely recommend simplifying the package choices and providing digital files (even lower quality and not the original .raw files) for parents to share.

Lisa is a great photographer and will have a long conversation with you to ensure she is capturing and doing exactly what you want and what you’re looking for.
My boyfriend and I did a shoot around Boston, and the pictures came out wonderful. Though the final prints are quite pricey, they are WELL worth it. Some are hanging up in our apartment, and we love them.
Also, here photo gallery online (you get a private login and can view yours when they are ready), is interactive and well done. Very easy to mark your favorites and determine which ones you want to order.
I would recommend picking the right day and the right season you’re wanting because Lisa REALLY has a great eye for light. She uses it to the picture’s advantage, so therefore, it is in your advantage!
Lisa is wonderful and I’d definitely work with her again.
