Specialties
I am a general practitioner, though most people come to me for musculo-skeletal pain and depression/stress relief. I work with all manner of ailments, however, ranging from infertility to chemotherapy care, disgestive disorders to insomnia, or even just health maintenance and relaxation. I offer both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, and treat adults and children of all ages.
History
Established in 2007.
PJ says, «After a back injury, I was in a great deal of pain and could barely move. I was being pushed to have surgery, but I wanted to try acupuncture first. The results were amazing! After every treatment, I felt a little better, and after a few months, I was completely cured. I decided then to become an acupuncturist myself.»
Also a martial artist, PJ has practiced the traditional Korean art of Soo Bahk Do since 1986, has been teaching it since 1991, and has operated his own school, Boston Classical Soo Bahk Do, since 2001. Before he became an acupuncturist, PJ was a Special Needs educator. He is a 1999 graduate of Brown University with a B.A. in English and American Literature.
