History

Established in 2014.

The term «chiropractic» combines the Greek words cheir (hand) and praxis (practice) to describe a treatment done by hand. Hands-​on therapy – especially adjustment of the spine – is central to chiropractic care. Chiropractic is based on the science that the relationship between the body’s structure and its function affects your health.

Chiropractic care is used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches. Chiropractic goals are to correct alignment problems, alleviate pain, improve function, and support the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Dr. Ryan Means is a Board-​certified Chiropractic Physician. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences. He completed his residency at California State University — Fullerton where he worked closely with medical doctors, physical therapists and orthopedists. Dr. Ryan offers personalized chiropractic care for all ages. Putting the patients’ needs first is the core of his philosophy. He is excited to be located inside Sollievo Massage and Bodywork — embracing the integrative healthcare model.
