Dr. Elkhal and the clinic staff were great. They really helped me to feel at ease in the clinic, and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the procedure.

In short, Dr. Elkhal and his staff were great and I highly recommend him.
I’ll try to keep this short. The reason for my visit was that I had a gum infection from a previous root canal/​crown procedure from a different Dentist that had since relocated. Not only did he perform the corrective procedure, but in doing so, found in the X-​ray what looked like a tiny shard of metal imbedded in my filling from the original procedure. He encouraged me to schedule more time so I could come back and he could work on getting it removed. It proved to be a bit difficult because of the location of the shard and the small space he had to work with in order to save my crown. It took two more visits, but his patients and commitment to quality and good work paid off. It’s also worth noting, the bill was settled upon the first visit, so this was purely going beyond the call of duty in my opinion. …and gave me the piece of mind knowing that I don’t have a foreign object embedded in my tooth.
I also don’t want the staff to go unmentioned. They were very personable and friendly, which is a great quality to have in place you don’t want to be to begin with.
I would have make him my primary Dentist if I could.

I had a new patient appointment at the Portland office. Dr Elkhal was great and thorough. Everyone I encountered on my visit was very nice. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family for any endo. work they might need. The best part of my visit is that it appears, at this time„ that I don’t need a root canal!!! This is not a Dr. that jumps right to the end treatment without trying the least invasive first to resolve the problem.

Dr. Steven and Assistant were very kind and understanding to my wife and I. Really gave off a courteous and considerate attitude throughout our experience there. Office was small, but inviting.

I met with Dr Steven for a consultation of my upcoming root canal. He was gentle and handle my questions very well. He is so kind as to work with me on a payment plan. Highly recommended !
