Established in 2013.

After spending 8 years in law enforcement, Tausig & Associates President and Managing Director Ian Tausig entered the private sector and incorporated Tausig & Associates as a full-​service, professional investigative firm.

Since inception, Tausig & Associates has become a go-​to agency for individuals, law firms, businesses, and insurance carriers looking for evidence in their cases.

Tausig & Associates has also developed into an industry leader in performing social media and open source cyber investigations and intelligence gathering for numerous clients across multiple industries. These services, in addition to the unique qualification to provide expert witness and consulting services round out this agency to fulfill any potential case requirements.

Ian T.

Business Owner

Ian Tausig is the President and Managing Director of Tausig & Associates. He worked for 8 ½ years at the Santa Paula Police Department and Guadalupe Police Department, working a number of assignments including patrol, communications, traffic investigations, and forensics.

He has since undertaken investigative cases involving large-​scale litigation and small-​scope personal matters. He is a board-​certified Social Media Intelligence Analyst and is a court-​testified expert witness in the field of social media and cyber investigations.
