Majesty Cleaners

I’ve been here twice so far. And the results are great! We moved to the area from northern CA last year and I loved my last cleaner. The last cleaner I had was over 30 mins away from me but I loved them so they were the only place I went to. So I was very particular about finding a new one. The first trip I had some clothes dry cleaned and had some pants altered. I was very pleased with the results and they were done within the time frame I needed. I tried other places out and they were over priced or unfriendly or confused (wanted business but didn’t know how to correct an issue). The second time my fiancée took a pair of jeans in for a repair. He had ripped them and although I tried to patch it myself they never stuck on longer then a day. Unfortunately the Jean wasn’t sold anywhere else and they are worth keeping. Now I’ve taken lots of jeans in and most places don’t know how to correct this issue. So I went back here and sure enough they fixed them. I wish I had a before picture to show how bad the rip was. Thankfully they fixed it! I’m over the moon! From now on they’re our spot!

Having a good location, nice staff and very reasonable price.
I can’t say they can take care of big things but for basic dry clean they are good, the only thing I don’t like about this place is the time frame for the service so for any reason of you need something to be rushed? And get done quick this is not the right place !!!
But at the end of the day they earned four stars.

I went to this place two years ago to have my leather jacket conditioned. It came back to me in even worse condition — very rough and more discolored. The owner quickly took offense to my dismay, and told me to never return. I plan to take him up on that. Stay far away from this place.

It is fair to write that Majesty Cleaners is a friendly establishment. However, if you are looking for a professional in stain removal, I do not recommend them.
I turned in a dress that was purchased at the department store with what appeared to be make-​up stains. When I picked up the dress, the stains had not been removed. They agreed to clean the dress at no additional charge, and sew a small tear for $ 10. When I took the dress home the second time, the stains were removed, but they did not correct the tear. So, it appears that I paid for the additional cleaning after all.

This is the only place I trust to clean my nicest wool suits, wool socks and cotton shirts. After many visits I have never encountered an issue with their service or staff and I regularly see them toting large jobs in armfuls out to their customers’ cars. Also, not many places will take the time to hand press a wool jacket but Majesty does judging by the excellent soft-​rolled rather than creased lapels for which I ask and for that I am very grateful.

Think all cleaners are the same and it doesn’t really matter which one you use? Let me tell you, they are NOT all the same, at least not in Camarillo. I am so glad that, about 6 years ago, I found Majesty Cleaners. Actually, I don’t send much stuff to the cleaners anymore since my stay-​at-​home mom wardrobe consists mostly of wash and wear comfy things. However, the clothes I do periodically get dry cleaned like dress clothes and my husband’s military uniforms, are always returned to me in beautiful condition. I also prefer that they use organic solvent, instead of the chemical-​smelling junk used by inferior cleaners. The staff is friendly, helpful and very knowledgable. I have also had several items tailored here (not just simple hemmed pants or shortened sleeves, but very complicated jobs) and all the work was flawless.
I know I’m not their best customer but they always treat me like I am. They are simply The Best.

Great place to get your clothes dry cleaned. This is the first time that I’ve dropped my clothes without having an complaint. The owner is polite which is good because who wants a grumpy person handling your clothes, not me! I will be coming back, not only is it close to my house, its not crowded.

Majesty clears is wonderful family owned dry clear and alteration shop.
The owner is always there to greet you with a smile. He does great work and has even saved me on more than one occasion.
As far as alteration, I always go there to have my jeans or khaki’s hemmed (original).
They do quick and precise work!
