History
Established in 2000.
Dip n Strip was opened at its current location in 1976 by Joseph Tapia. Chuck started bringing his projects to Joe for stripping in 1981. When Joe retired in 2000, he convinced (conned) Chuck into buying him out and moving his finishing operation from Thousand Oaks to the 2,000 square foot shop in Camarillo. Chuck continue to operate at that same location.
Today, our goal is to provide a wide range of services to everyone from the do-it-yourselfer to the most discriminating and demanding designers and clients. And in the process, we plan to have some fun doing it.
Otherwise, why bother?

Business Owner
After six years in the European antique importing industry, Charles Mork began his career in 1979 as a restoration and refinishing apprentice under the tutelage of the legendary father-son team of Charles A. and Charles S. Poer.
After several years of learning the art of fine finishing in the shop and in some of the finest homes in Southern California, he began finishing under his own name.
William Mork began working on projects with his dad while still in high school. For over a decade, he has honed his skills and proved to be a valuable asset as a partner and craftsman.
