I had the poblano chicken sandwich with onion rings. Holy smokes lunch was superb and the onion rings were crispy and yet light. Very very yummy place. Well worth the price I think. The chicken poblano peppers and chipotle sauce was a nice merge of awesomeness.

Yum! I ordered the shrimp cocktail and the bruschetta sampler. Both were delicious. My husband and friend ordered the 10oz Top sirloin with scrambled eggs and O’Brian potatoes… Steak medium rare. Yum, yum, yum!!!

A hidden gem in Camarillo. We were 3 for dinner on Saturday. You can’t tell from the outside how wonderful this place is. Everything from the appetizer to dessert was spectacular. We will definitely be back.

Great service great food and a great atmosphere! The staff and service here is great! The food is delicious and although it is a little pricey the quality is worth it. The restaurant is typically pretty busy and there is a lot of hustle and bustle happening. I am looking forward to our next visit in to stuff our faces with great food. Kirk and Tori run quite the restaurant!

Delicious I will be back. I was shocked, surprised and impressed. Now living in the Conejo valley for three years we don’t expect much when we eat out. Well this is a Los Angeles caliber restaurant people. You know a place is good when it’s BUSY on a Wednesday night in the RAIN! CA residents understand this. It was my birthday and I wanted to go someplace nice. The menu had something we all liked. French Onion soup was good a bit salty but cheesy with lots of onions and bread. My Husband had the paella and loved it. My daughter the ravioli very tasty, spicy but the flavor was just right. My fillet was just right. Grilled veggies and Brussel sprouts«just like yours» my daughter said. I think the sprouts were better, just enough garlic and crispy and soft. Our server Jesus was attentive. I don’t go back to many places but I would go back to and even bring out of town guests. a bit pricey for the area but a bargain for the quality, worth every cent. stop reading Unilocal reviews and make a reservation now.

They had me at Pot Roast Sliders. Yummy pot roast meat with perfectly salty gravy on adorable brioche buns. A nice upgrade to traditional«bar food» fare. We usually come here for Happy Hour, but recently I have enjoyed lunches here as well. Their menu offers a nice variety of items, including some bomb mac & cheese, the«mission sandwich» which is an open face delight with a generous heap of avocado. The bruschetta trio and sweet potato fries are also my faves, but their pot roast has me coming back again and again. Their drinks are well made and consistent and we have always enjoyed excellent and friendly service from people who seem genuinely happy. Kirk, the manager, is always working hard, but with a good attitude and a smile. We will be back again and again and yes, I will be ordering the pot roast each and every time! :-)

Absolutely LOVE Adolfo Grill. Happy hours are the best! I like coming on Tuesdays, because the best bartenders around work then. Chelsey and Tex Rock! Great camaraderie between the 2 makes for nice experience for me, The customer. Both attentive. I’m never thirsty. Really good and different menu, I’ve had bruschetta, chili, salmon cakes, homemade chips. It’s all good. Chelsea has one of the most beautiful smiles you’ve ever seen. And Tex, is a customers bartender and makes you feel like a friend. They all make you feel warm and welcome. Good food, great service. I’d recommend!

I looked for a steakhouse in Camarillo and found this place. What a nice surprise! Loved our waiter and the steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly. A nice atmosphere too. I wanted something somewhat fancy for my husband’s birthday and this was perfect. Not too fancy but not too casual.

Have eaten here several times and never had a bad meal. The Cobb Salad is as good as any I have had anywhere. Their burgers are delicious. They cook their French fries in a beef based oil instead of vegetable oil. Not necessarily healthier but certainly better tasting. $ 3805 beers in the bar. Great local hangout.

Right off the bat I have to say the service was very poor. We came in for our first time for dinner and the waitress gives us the lunch menu. Not knowing it was the lunch menu till we started ordering and the waitress is like that’s the lunch menu?! SMH We then received the dinner menu after 15 minutes had past of us already looking at the lunch menu. There also wasn’t much of a selection to choose from on either menu. I ordered a soup and a salad. The heirloom tomato salad was surprisingly very good but the French onion soup was not memorable. I did enjoy the sour dough bread. I also tried the mashed potatoes which were starchy and had a bland taste. After seeing both the lunch menu and dinner menu I had pretty much decided I wasn’t going to come back but the service sealed the deal. The waitress was very inattentive. She never asked us about refills we always had to ask and she didn’t come back to our table unless it was to bring something. Not sure if she had ever been a waitress before but it didn’t seem like it. It was almost comical how she wasn’t really waiting on us or the other table next to us. She was just roaming around the side by the kitchen. Needless to say we won’t be going back.

How could I have worked in or near Camarillo for years and not known about this place? I met a friend here for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. Slightly upscale, warm, quiet, pleasant environment. Nice looking bar. We were seated at a booth in the dining area. Service was very attentive, friendly and professional. We started with the house-made potato chips with roasted onion dip. Yummy. I had the seared ahi tuna salad. The salad was fresh and a decent portion. Two things stood out: the ahi had been coated on one side with a rub that added a nice kick and the house-made creamy herb and horseradish dressing was delicious. Maybe too much flavor for some, but I loved it. My friend enjoyed her Ranch House pot roast open face sandwich. Her portion was large enough that she took half home. I ate all of my ahi! Since it was lunchtime we just had iced tea, but I would like to go back and sample one(or two) of the cocktails. I’ll bet this would be a fun place to go for happy hour cocktails and munchies.

Came here after a day of skydiving with a great group. The food wasn’t bad but it was not great. We ordered med rare steak but it came out like med to med-well. It was still good, but it wasn’t what we ordered. We were all very hungry so we ate. Our waitress was very friendly, but a bit slow to bring us our bread basket while we waited for our food. I probably wouldn’t come back here, but if I did I would check out the bar instead because they have happy hour specials.

Their website states they are open until 10pm on Saturday nights. I came at 8:55pm last night and the hostess rudely told me that the restaurant was closed because it was too slow. We showed her how on the website it stated they were open later and she just rolled her eyes at us and repeated herself. I question why so many would choose not to come here on a Saturday night since the restaurant next door was packed at this time. It’s unfortunate this establishment is choosing to turn away potential business, especially with such a lack of regard for customer service. Don’t plan on coming here later in the evening, even if they advertise being open until 10.

Yea, I’ll come back here for lunch. The Unilocal photos is what enticed us to come here in the first place. But upon arrival my lunch crew and I were skeptical because most of the guests were all grey-hairs. Now that could be a good thing or a bad thing. Seated in front of the kitchen, we felt a little under dressed, but being that it is Camarillo, fine dining does not really exist. Anyways, the food is GOOD! The menu is American — offering varieties of sandwiches, salads, burgers, steak entrees, and some seafood. Sides are typical like fries, sweet potato fries, 5-cheese mac’n cheese, soup, salad, and such. Their appetizer menu was interesting because it wasn’t anything typical that I’ve seen before: deviled eggs, chicken dip, house made chips, salmon lox, & chili. The house made chips & dip we received complimentary — maybe because they want us young folks to come back again or maybe they were feeling extra generous — were amazing! they were like ruffles potato chips with Lays french onion dip, but only better! And you know how delicious Ruffles & Lays dip is. The $ 4 side of mac’n’cheese was perfect portion and all sorts of melty cheese deliciousness, with parmesan crumbles on top. My tuna melt sandwich was good too. Crispy toast, good tuna, no complaints. And the mixed green salad offering was good too. I love beets & goat cheese. The other fellas opted for the chicken poblano sandwich and they all had the same consensus — the chicken moist, and the bacon was sliced thick and had a good sweet-smokey flavor. The Adolfo burger was stacked pretty high, it needed a good smoosh before getting it into your mouth. At medium-well, the beef patty was still moist & juicy and had good flavor. No complaints. Price was worth the meal. The service was great, attentive, no lag time in refilling our drinks. Since we were by the kitchen, we were able to give thumbs up to the chef. We will be back and hope that this review will want you to come in and dine here too!

They had me at Happy hour from 3 – 8 I had a margarita with a jalapeño add in. $ 6. It was good not too sweet and strong! Happy hour bar menu includes 17 items here is a sample of a few of them chili cheese fries 4.95, bruschetta sampler 4.95, baby kale & quinoa salad 7.95. Adolfo grill offers sunset dinners from 4:00 — 5:30. Monday — Thursday and they are also open for lunch. The service and the bartender were great. Whenever I drive by this restaurant it appears that it’s closed but it’s not. For some reason it just looks like it’s closed. I loved the old pictures of the Camarillo family that filled the restaurant!

If anything, this place needs to learn proper serving ettiquette. Four servers came up to us at different times both for ordering drinks and food. However after ordering, we waited 35 minutes before the food came out, and they did not check on us once since. The two stars comes from my appreciation for the aldolfo club and grilled veggies that I ordered. The breading was not as I hoped, but the vegetables were good. There are better places around. I don’t know if I’ll be back for a long while. Sorry, but your service was dissatisfying.

Came here to try out happy hour, and it looks like they have good drinks for happy hour, but just fyi there is no happy hour for food. We did not have a ton of time so we ordered what we thought would be quick. I had the kale and quinoa salad and I was sadly disappointed with the presentation and the overall lack of flavor. Yes it’s a Kale and quinoa salad, but that does not mean that you just throw some kale on a plate with a pinch of quinoa on top? I’m a vegetarian and I rely on having vegetarian options that are interesting, and satisfying. For God sakes, mix it up with the dressing, don’t be so stingy on the quinoa, add more tomatoes, hell don’t be scared to add some avocado, maybe some scallions. Seriously, this is a sad salad, I’m happy to give this place another shot, but the first impression here is not leaving a good taste in my mouth.
