History

Established in 1990.

Studio 271 was originally located in downtown Stanwood off of 271^st. Jo Thorne was the original owner and she moved onto Camano Island roughly in 1997. The name was kept because of our good reputation and being established in the community. We are now off of Hwy. 532. She sold the business in approx. 2002 to Shoaleh Monadjemi, the current owner. We are very involved in both Stanwood and Camano Island activities and support local groups as much as we possibly can.

Business Owner

Shoaleh has been a cosmetologist since 2000. She purchased Studio 271 in 2004. Her passion is staying current in styles, trends and techniques by attending salon advanced training and hair shows regularly. She believes in communicating and listening to her clients needs along with paying attention to details such as face shape, hair type and skin tone make all the difference in the style design for you. Shoaleh also enjoys make-​up, manicuring, pedicuring, and is very experienced in all types of waxing. She loves to open up and frame the eyes with beautiful arched eyebrows. Shoaleh has been specializing in brazillian waxing since 2003.
