We carry many items which are organic and/​or fair trade, as well as items Made in the USA. History

Established in 2007.

I decided to open Mud Puddles because I felt Calistoga needed a children’s boutique where a person could come in and buy stylish clothing for the young. Having been a kindergarten teacher, it was also important for me to bring in well made educational toys. I feel it is important to keep a child’s mind curious and active through toys that not only last long, but make you think while manipulting them.

Business Owner

I grew up in Calistoga, CA and graduated from CSU Chico in 1995. I traveled for a few years and moved back to the Napa Valley to attend CSU Sonoma for a degree in Early Childhood Education. I became a teacher at Calistoga Elementary school where I taught kindergarten, but after a few years of teaching my husband and I decided to start a family. When my daughter Chloe was born I resigned from teaching to stay home and soon became pregnant with our son Aiden. My children are now in school and Mud Puddles is just about to celebrate its third year of business. I feel I have built a loyal clientele and I have gotten the chance to meet many people from different parts of the world. I hope to keep my customers happy by working hard and doing my homework when buying merchandise for my store. Mud Puddles specializes in unique items which are loved not only by children, but by adults as well.
