Seriously. Funny name, delicious food! I’ve been a few times now and it’s always as good as I remember… or better. The carne asada is so good. Flavorful, tender, perfectly cooked. Awesome flour tortillas for your tacos. Corn tortillas too. The tacos come with a tray of 7 or so salsas, radish, cucumber, pickled carrots, cabbage, etc. you also get a bowl of beans to add in and grilled jalapeños and cebollitas. So good. I couldn’t recommend it more.

This place is so great! There tacos are yummy, they serve you 5 different salsas and fixing for the tacos. The service is print and friendly. I had 1 carne Asada, 1 pastor quesadilla and 1 machaca taco. It was so delicious. I can’t wait to come eat here again. :)

We got there just before a lunch rush. It’s very hard to find a good torta de milanesa and there’s was delicious! Their jamaica and agua de cebada were great; they had the right level of sweetness. The server was attentive and quickly cleared our plates once we finished. A nice spot in Calexico and worth visiting.

We paid a lot of money and got very little food. Each taco was $ 2, and everything was a la carte. The food was alright, but very overpriced. The quesadilla sencilla was so tiny, you’d need a microscope to see it. What a jip!

I really liked the place and enjoyed the food. It’s the closest you can get to Mexicali’s tacos without crossing the border. Of course the prices are higher, but if you don’t want the hassle of crossing the border, they’re worth it. The place smells great, due to the meat and chicken being grilled just outside. Just like if you were grilling at home on a Sunday afternoon, but without having to be out in the heat. Just come here, sit in the cool area and enjoy some Tacos!

I love D’polys because they have traditional Mexican food and it feels my grandma cooked it — meaning it tastes home made :) It’s so delicious! My favorite dishes are the enchiladas suizas, pollo en mole, and carne en su jugo… Yuuuuum!

Where do l start? I ordered a carne asada taco and the tortilla was stiff like it had been reheated after it cooled. The meat had a funny taste like lighter fluid or dirty grill. The torta I ordered was falling apart along with what was in it. The only thing that was good was the lemonade. Also, everything is overpriced. $ 8.99 for a torta? Next time I’ll go around the corner to the donut shop a get one for $ 3.00.

The place looks kind of tired out, the drab interior could use a facelift, but that not what I was there for, I wanted some good food, unfortunately although I had heard this place was very good I thought the food was not inspiring at all… I have had much better tacos on the streets of Mexicali for less $ than what I paid here. It is possible I was there on an off day or that what I ordered was not the best they offer but I won’t be going back.

One of the best Mexican places I’ve ever been to, and I grew up on the stuff. Best chips & salsa I’ve had in a restaurant.

Some real authentic Mexican food. Everything taste amazing. Even the chips and salsa are delicious. It may not look like much from outside but this place is amazing. The service was also very good. They really know how to throw down a burrito here. Personally I don’t think anywhere else in the area compares.

This place is a gem– no need to cross the border for Mexicali or Tijuana style street tacos. This is the place. Fresh salsas and they get the tortillas down! Pollo Asado Taco was juicy, hot off the pit and the salsas they give you are great. Can’t wait to come back and try everything else. Buen hecho D Poly!
