Dr Hoffman is a disaster. I am 25 years old now but Dr. Hoffman had me as a child. I have been a mouth breather since childhood due to bad oral habits as a toddler. I think most people would agree it is the responsibility of the orthodontist to be knowledgeable and competent enough to identify structural issues of the teeth/jaws, and to take measures to correct those issues. Dr Hoffman instead just slapped braces on my and straightened my teeth without any regard for the anatomy of my tongue positioning and breathing. The key also is these issues can only be corrected by a competent orthodontist when the patient is still growing – he had me at the most important time. But he failed completely. He ruined my life completely. I have so much potential but he ruined it due to his desire to quickly get you in and out of treatment as soon as possible, without any care for your child’s anatomical structure. Mark my words, Dr Hoffman is a disaster. Don’t trust him with your child. Look at his smile and chin, it’s no wonder he is comfortable producing such poor results in the children he is entrusted with. If you are looking for the perfect mixture of incompetence and lack of care, Dr Hoffman is your guy. disaster. you’ve been warned.

I took my nephew to Dr. Hoffman 4 years ago. He had his braces removed a few months ago and now sees Dr. Hoffman once a month or so. Dr. Hoffman is great. He has a terrific dispositiona and deals well with his patients and their parents/guardians. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone.
