Both Dr. Robert & Warren Schacter are a diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, members of the American Association of Orthodontics, and members of the Edward Angle Society, where they have received multiple awards for clinical excellence.

Business Owner

Dr Rober Schacter received his dental degree from St. Louis University in 1962. After returning from active duty in the Marines, he earned a degree in Orthodontics with honors from USC in 1968. He has practiced orthodontics exclusively in the West Valley since that time. Dr. Schacter enjoys teaching and is an Professor in the Graduate Orthodontic Department at USC, where he has been teaching for the past four decades. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, and a member of the Edward Angle Society.

Dr. Warren Schacter was born and raised in the West San Fernando Valley. He attended UC San Diego where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. He received his DDS degree with honors from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1994 and completed his Master of Science in Orthodontics also with honors from USC in 1997. He is also Board Certified, a member of the Angle Society and AAO, and a clinical professor at USC.

Drs. Schacter do great work for adults! I’m 57 and just completed my orthodontic treatment with Dr Robert and Dr Warren. I am delighted with the results. I have a full set of healthy, perfectly straight teeth! Both Dr Robert and Dr Warren are friendly and patient — I asked lots of questions along the way and both Doctors always took time to completely explain everything — and everything went exactly as they said! All the office staff are just as nice. I fully recommend Schacter Orthodontics!

There aren’t enough stars to give a true review of Schacter Orthodontics. Both Dr. Robert Schacter & Dr. Warren Schacter are absolutely top notch in every way and so is their staff! Not only did they help both my children through braces and extensive dental work for my younger daughter but they did it with such care and finesse. When my daughter was little, she had an apparatus put in her mouth that I had to tighten with a key. The first night I tightened it, she cried and I was worried I did something wrong. I called the office at 9:00pm and Dr. Schacter said to come to his house. (Amazing!) It turned out that everything was fine. I was just a nervous mom :) Another time, we had an appointment and Dr. Schacter had some duct tape for my daughter because he knew she loved to make duct tape wallets. What an incredible family! What incredible doctors! We are so lucky we found them.

I’m normally not a reviewer. However, we’ve had such a positive experience at Schacter orthodontics that I wanted to spread the word. I know how difficult it is to find someone you can trust.
When both my kids had procedures, Dr. Schacter called more than once to follow up and make sure they were doing well.
Both Drs. Schacter were amazing with our kids. We’ve had fantastic results and the kids are happy.
EVERYONE in the office is super professional and NICE. They have state of the art equipment, and they are both on the cutting edge of orthodontics.
I highly recommend them. After looking and looking, I’m so happy we found them.

Excellent experience with my two children. Caring doctors and wonderful front office. Easy to make appointments. They worked with me and my crazy schedule. Best of all they took their time and didn’t settle with pretty good. Both kids have perfect teeth!

I have two teens who have had braces put on by Schacter Orthodontics within the last few years. I couldn’t be happier with the process or the results. I love looking at my kids’ smiles! We interviewed three different orthodontist practices that were recommended to us, and both the kids and I picked Schacter Orthodontics. The office is fun for kids, and the results were worth every penny. Both Dr. Warren and Dr. Bob are so great with my kids. They are kind, fun and great at what they do. When my daughter needed a new bracket over the weekend, Dr. Bob didn’t hesitate to meet us at the office on a Saturday and couldn’t have been nicer. They understand kids. The best part was that my kids never complained about going to the orthodontist. The office always accommodated us when we needed to change an appointment last minute. The staff is wonderful too! We are big fans of Schacter Orthodontics and wouldn’t hesitate to refer anyone to them!

We consulted, interviewed, assessed, and referred. Our thorough and exhaustive search for the best orthodontist came to a close after we found Dr Schacter and Dr Schacter. They are tops in every way.
The artifacts and design of the clinic cannot be matched. Beautiful colors, and zany art complement the well thought out and welcoming offices. The open feel and wall of windows offer a free and easy comfortable environment. The professional support staff including the extremely competent office manager Sherri, make the patient and visitor feel right at home.
This perfect environment doesn’t stop with the artsy office, and the warm and friendly culture. Drs Schacter are smart, knowledgable, caring, friendly, and chill. But for me, the real differentiating part of why we chose Schacter Orthodontists was that they are artists. Not only is there art everywhere but the Schacter father and son team practice their craft as an art.
The orthodontists that we consulted with prior to finding the Schacters wanted to pull several of my kid’s teeth to make more space. No teeth were pulled by Schacter and Schacter. My kid’s teeth turned out perfect!
One final note. They are very accommodating about appts. Their office hours are designed around the school day not around a standard 8 – 5 business.

I have had two children go through many years of othodonics at Schacter Orthodontics and I can not say enough about their practice. They genuinely care about the work they perform on each and every patient and make sure each patient is happy with their smile before they are finished. They worked around my children’s busy sports schedules to ensure that they could get in when they needed to. I don’t know any other doctors that do this! Both my children now have beautiful smiles thanks to Schacter Orthodontics.

BOTH Schacters are amazing, as well as their incredible staff. Not only do they do great work in a warm environment, there is never any pressure. Their goal is to make sure your kids leave there with great teeth and great smiles. Both our kids, Maddie & Connor, are patients. And we couldn’t be happier with the results. Such nice people. Where do I even begin, Dr. Warren Schacter has been great since day one but it is the team at Schacter Orthodontics that made it for me. Being a patient of Dr. Shacter for somewheres around 10 years, I’m proud to say that I’m extremely satisfied with my teeth! Prior to orthodontics, I had several spaces in between my teeth as well as an underbite, which had to be fixed surgically. Words cannot describe how pleased I am with my results! I wouldn’t have gotten these results anywhere wouldn’t have happened without Schacter Orthodontics!

I love this place! I brought my two children in to get braces and ended up also getting some myself. I had seen great results from this office and wanted the same. The Schacter’s didn’t disappoint. I find the staff and doctors to be so kind and funny. They always make me laugh! I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. They have amazing work ethic and are serious about getting the job done. Do what they tell you and the time with braces flies by. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever done and all our teeth look awesome! Plus they have a super cool office with neon all over. Thanks guys!

I always wanted nice teeth, but as I got older and well past my 50’s I thought that it would never be possible. Well, 14 months after meeting these two wonderful orthodontists and their very wonderful staff, I have lovely and straight teeth.
It is not easy being an adult with braces, but they put up with my breakage and moaning. I could not be happier except when I look in the mirror and actually realize that those are my teeth and I smile even bigger.

I can say with complete confidence that Schacter Orthodontics is the absolute BEST. I honestly looked forward to my appointment each month! The staff is so warm, welcoming, and they treat their patients like friends!
I came to Dr. Schacter when I was 24 and feeling very self conscious of my overbite. As a child, I had braces for SIX years with a orthodontist that wasn’t the best. During my complimentary consultation with Dr. Schacter he immediately knew what needed to be done to get me the smile I had always wanted so badly. I was dreading having braces again, especially as an adult, so they used the «clear» ceramic braces.
The two years I had them on went by in a flash. The difference in my smile and profile is drastic! I am so happy with my smile and can’t believe I waited so long to walk into that office! My sister and all my girlfriends also went to Dr. Schacter and their teeth are still perfect! I am SO incredibly grateful for having found Dr. Schacter and all they did to make sure my experience was as quick and painless as possible!

Dr. Robert and Warren are miracle workers– at least, in my book! They came in highly recommended by my dentist. With a wedding to prepare for, I was anxious to show off my camera ready smile.
At first, I was prepared to suffer through what seemed to be an ordeal of having to come in for regular check ups and adjustments. But both doctors and staff made it truly pleasant. You can count on Sherry to send you appointment reminders. She warmly welcomes you back for your treatment. Babes and the rest of the team are very attentive and encouraging, especially for newbies like me. Nothing beats the atmosphere in the office, very relaxing and there is art all over to appreciate. You can count on well behaved patients, young (mostly kids) and old (like me). Dr. Robert is such a sweetheart and the cheerleader of the two Dr. Warren on the other hand is the cool dude, he explains to you each treatment he does (I was the inquisitive type). We also got to talk about marriage and finances and other things— he’s had me forget I was in a dental office
Of course if I had an extra set of teeth that needed fixing, I’d be running to go see them. So to anyone who’s been dreading to have braces, have no fear — this is the place to go to!

I can’t describe how wonderful my experience has been with them.
Even after having my braces removed four years ago, they have continued to treat me with kindness. When I had first become a patient I was surprised how at home I felt. The experience was painless and enjoyable. I loved coming in to catch up with the staff.
When I returned for a new retainer, It felt like I was home again. The best service, the great humor, and a comfortable environment.
I’m proud to had been a patient to such a wonderful practice and I can’t stress to others how great it is.

I have been coming to this office for the past 6 years. All 3 of my children have had braces and I am very happy with each of their results! Doctor Schacter and Dr. Warren (his son) are extremely nice. They work as a team, so you end up seeing them both while you are being treated. Sherri at the front desk is wonderful and can always find an apointment that will work with your schedule. When something breaks, they squeeze you in as soon as they can!
I think a good smile is one of the most important things you can have. Knowing that the Drs. Schacter feel the same way is all I need when choosing an Orthodontist for my kids!
