Just took my new dog here for his first grooming. They did a great job! When we checked in the groomer came out front and we discussed what I wanted done, including style of cut. They were done within the timeframe they promised. Overall, I have no complaints, I had a good experience with this place!

We used to take our dogs here all the time, 6 times per year for the past 3.5 years. This recent visit ended our business with them. We always give instructions to not cut their hair everytime we go, however they proceeded to chop the dogs hair. We’ve all bad haircuts in our life so I could have let it go, but the fact that when my husband called them to complain they denied cutting their hair altogether. Lying and denying to customers is just bad business. You think we seriously don’t know when our pomeranians got a chop job… Aside from that, one of our dogs is now biting his legs compulsively. He has little bumps all over his body too, kind of like pimples. This ties back to our other dog developing a weird bug bite right after we picked her up after the last visit here. She ended up biting the area so aggressively that the vet had to shave the area and apply antibiotics. I’m not sure if it happened at the pet wash but with the other dog now biting the bumps right after his visit there, it seems too much to be merely a coincidence.

My fiancé took our Morkie here for the first time and we were very pleased. They gave us exactly what we asked for and our puppy was done within 2 hours!

Great service! Prompt and clean groomers. I love how I don’t need to ask for bows in my dogs hair, they just know what I like. My dogs always leave happy and perfectly groomed. If you’re looking for a clean and reliable groomer, this is the place to go. Ask for their safe doggy dye!

I have been using this pet wash for about 3 years. My two dogs get groomed once a month, or so. Great experience every time. They are a little more expensive than a Petsmart groomer, but they are literally across the street (for me, at least) and the staff is friendly and experienced.

I have to update my review because I have since left this groomer and started using Sage’s Mobile Pet Spa.
On my last visit to the Pet Wash several months ago, Jessica who used to run the counter was no longer there. Jessica would always double check with me to ensure she knew how short to cut my dog’s hair. This time, there was a man working at the counter with whom I was not familiar.
I assumed when I dropped of my dog that the man I left her with would call me if he had any questions, but I just told him to do the same thing they had done last time. When I picked her up, my heart sunk. They had completely buzzed all of her hair.
Also, I will not say that this was a direct link, but I noticed two bumps around my dog’s neck that turned into sores. I was trying to figure out what caused it. It could have been a nick from the scissors or cutter they used, or it could have been a spider bite. I took my dog to the vet and even they could not tell us the cause; however, the marks appeared the day after I had taken her hair to get groomed. It’s possible it was just a coincidence.
After I realized Jessica had left who used to take really good care of me and my dog, they buzzed my dogs hair short without checking and these random bumps on my dog’s neck, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I found Sage and her mobile pet spa and have been incredibly happy. I also realized that allowing my dog to remain in a cage until she was groomed caused her a lot of stress. It’s better for your dog to have someone groom them one-​on-​one.

Also helps that they are up the street! But other than convenience, they are always friendly and the shop is always clean and neat. They are even kind enough to accommodate a later pick up time if i’m on the road.

I tried twice this week to get my dog washed. The first time I called they wouldn’t take our dog because they wanted to close early that day and would not let me leave our pet there till 4pm! They close at 5pm! Today I went in at 4pm and asked if they would wash the dog today. their «busy day». I was told because they close in an hour they will would not accept the dog. After some pleading and explaining this is the second time they have turned me away… they did agree. But I was barked at. told I need to bring my pet NO LATER THAN 3PM. THERE WE NO OTHER DOGS THERE except one who I think was their dog. They were rude… far from gracious for the business. They have no website and seem to be be running their business at the bare minimum. The only thing I will give them credit for is the prices are very reasonable. But their attitude today clearly indicated someone hates their job. There was ZERO good customer service. I will NEVER bring my pet back. i would rather drive further than be yelled out by an employee who has no idea how to run a business.

I look my dog here about 6 months ago for a grooming. They did a good job, not perfect. I did end up having the even out some of the hair on her ears but it wasn’t bad. I remember the price being moderately affordable. It was also done very quickly compared to a larger chain like Petsmart.
I try to do my own grooming in between visits to save money. But I’d go back.

My pretty pretty princess loves pet wash. She always gets a great shampoo and blow dry. They even give her a special cream rinse conditioner and let me know if her ends are getting split! This place is clean and they are so nice. Make an appointment in advance as they fill up on the weekends. Plenty of parking and reasonable rates. I have been using them for about three years.

When my husband and I lived in Los Angeles, we took our two Shih Tzu’s here twice. Our shih tzu’s are very nervous and hate the groomers, so we are always weary and proceed with caution to groomers. While they may not be the friendliest group of people that work there, I was very very pleased with the result both times. Honestly for the 7 years we have owned these dogs, this is the best grooming we have ever received for them. They listened to what our needs/​wants were, and our shih tzu’s were never cuter or softer or cleaner! Their haircut grew out better than it ever had with the cutest face shapes ever.
They are a little pricey, I did wish the cost was about $ 10 cheaper, but since it is the «range» we usually pay, I was glad to get the results I did paying a little more. I wish still lived near here!

TERRIBLE experience. I should’ve never taken my dogs (bichon frise, maltese) here after the less than mediocre job they have done the past couple of times, but they’re located so close to me, so it was convenient… BIG MISTAKE.
Let me just start by saying, I had an appointment scheduled, and they called me to cancel bc someone called in sick, so I had to reschedule for a few days later.
I took both my dogs in for a full wash and trim each. I told them to groom the maltese as they saw fit. However, I am very picky with my bichon as it takes him about a year to grow a few inches of hair and he also has skin allergies so he needs a hair coat as a protective layer from his scratching. I brought in a written bullet pointed list of very specific instructions and went through them with the receptionist: use oatmeal shampoo due to sensitive skin, brush hair as you blow dry him so his hair is fluffy, cut hair thoroughly from ears as he is prone to ear infections, trim ½ an inch off only, etc. I specifically asked that they call me if they needed to veer from any of my instructions.
Well they called, left me a voicemail that stated, «We recommend you shave the dog bc he has a bit of matting on his right shoulder, we’ll wait for you to call back before we do anything else.»
I called back within thirty minutes as I was at work and unable to get to my phone and immediately said, «Absolutely do NOT shave my dog, I brush him every day and I know whatever „matting“ you see can be brushed, so DON’T shave him.»
Her response, «I already did.»
Needless to say, I was livid, shaking, borderline tears, and felt so helpless. I trusted these people with my dog, had a full conversation with the lady who understood my requests, yet they completely let me down. They completely shaved his beautiful white coat. To top it off, the lady had nothing to say, and was unapologetic. I asked to speak to the owner/​manager, who called me within five minutes. The owner was the only good thing out of this whole situation. She apologized on their behalf and offered free grooming for the next six months. Although the owner did her best to keep my business, it was too little, too late. I won’t be taking my dogs back there, even if they paid me.

Walking in the first thing I noticed was the pink poodle! The next thing was the receptionist with blue hair! Needless to say this place is different from probably any Groomer I’ve taken my teacup yorkie to thus far. Its def on the edgier trendier side… All together I have no complaints.
I only got a pet wash but my little baby came out clean as a whistle and happy as a clam :)
She smelled great and was soft and fluffy! I was a little disappointed she wasn’t completely dry when I got there but that is probably my only complaint. I will def be back as it was $ 25 — the same price I pay elsewhere and right down the street!
I’m excited to see how a haircut goes and I’m even more excited to see what kind of fun add on’s they have available… maybe there will be a pink yorkie in my future!

I had the most horrible experience here ever!
I had my little fur-​baby groomed here several times with no issues… but this last time…
I made an appointment on a Friday, asking the receptionist to select a time where she won’t have to wait too long to be serviced (as she has horrible anxiety at the groomers).
After several hours, I was getting concerned and called in only to find out that she had not been worked on AT ALL. «Sorry, we are really busy.» Why did you give me that appointment time!!!
As if that wasn’t bad enough, when I got home I found red marks on my carpet from my baby’s bloody toe! They probably rushed and cut her nails too short… she was licking her toe for hours.
Please be warned, do not let this happen to your loved one.

What’s in a name? Pet Wash is as simple as their name. A decent, convenient place to get your pet washed. They do grooming, too, along with nail trims and all of the normal things you see at a groomer. Make no mistake, though. This is not a fancy foo-​foo salon, just a basic get ‘er done kinda shop.
I’ve walked in twice without a reservation and they’ve cheerfully brought our Goldendoodle in for a wash. I would recommend calling ahead, though. Two or so hours later he’s all clean and brushed out and feeling like a puppy again. $ 40 for the 30 pound pooch. Prices are reasonable and vary with the size of the dog and complexity of the job.
M prefers the smell of her old groomer’s shampoo, as PW’s stuff left O-​dog clean but with little residual shampoo smell. Heather offered a mango-​something-​or-​other perfume, but we declined. The lack of shampoo smell could be a good thing, though, especially if a family member has allergies.
Just don’t expect Fido to come home smelling like eu de parfum and you’ll like PW. Easy, accommodating, and reasonably priced. Convenient, too. That’s simply what Pet Wash is. Just like the name.
PS As always, folks, I try to keep it real. Tough to do in SoCal, my friends. So, let me put on my black and white striped referee shirt and throw a yellow flag. Although Pet Wash is not 5 stars, neither is it 1. Be cautious of 1 star reviews from folks with no friends, only 1 review and advertising a competitor’s service in their review. 5 yards for Roughing the Merchant. Just saying…

When you get this business on the phone. which is rarely just wait til they get you in there!
When I dropped off my nervous fearful dog I was greeted by a woman with a young girl (about 7yrs or 8) who was crowding my dog and shadowing her «grandmother» who owns the place. when the woman led my dog back the little girl followed close behind and came face to face with my dog. making her more nervous as she is NOT used to children.
Don’t bother with these people! When I came to pick my dog up I was once again surprised by the price they charged for a quick wash. NO CUT, NO GROOM… it goes up with the «mood» of the day… Call Brandon’s Mobil Groom and do yourself and your pet a favor. don’t put them through the hassle at PET WASH…:((((((((

I can’t believe this place hasn’t been rated. They do a great job, are flexible, and are so nice. I take my Maltese, Lola, in and they always do an excellent job.
