There’s only one star because you HAVE to put something. I swear, if these idiots call me one more time, I am going to their office and have at it. I get «robocalls» from this company, from all different numbers, none of which are real (call the number back and it doesn’t exist).

This company should lose their license for immoral business practices. My parents who are in their 80’s unknowingly called them for a routine furnace inspection. Since there was nothing wrong with the furnace the tech proceeded to climb into the attic and came back stating that the insulation was insufficient, and they would add new insulation for $ 3,780.00…WOW!!! Considering the fact that I am a licensed general contractor, and I just had a house insulated with the same square footage for $ 1,100.00 I was completely blown away!!! Especially since there was absolutely nothing wrong with the existing insulation. This company should be investigated for elderly abuse, and reported to the state licensing board. There are some legitimate, very honest companies in the HVAC trade, and then there are the others who are dishonest, and completely taking advantage of people… Indoor Air Quality is definitely one of the immoral, dishonest ones!

Like others here, we’ve been victims of their repeated illegal phone solicitations. (The callers say the business is headquartered in Calabasas, with branches elsewhere.) The last person who called was dishonest (or oddly ignorant), for when I explained — yet again — that we’ve been on the Federal Do Not Call Registry since it began, she asked when we last renewed our registration. I explained that it’s still active and that you never have to renew if your number doesn’t change. She insisted that I had to renew, which is a tactic some callers use, assuming consumers don’t know how the Registry works. So I told her she should tell the company’s manager that businesses must synchronize their call list with an updated version of the Do Not Call Registry at least every 31 days in every area they call, and that she could go to
if she’d like to learn how the Registry actually works. I love supporting Southern California businesses and hate to write this, but I’d never trust one that violated the law like this in hopes of gaining customers. (Their «F» grade from the BBB is another indicator.)

My elderly father called this company so they could they could show him how to replace a filter on his central heating system. They tech showed him an analysis that showed how much heat was escaping and told him he needed to have all the ducts and vents replaced in their 3 bedroom 2 bath house. The cost was $ 3500! This was not for a new heating system but only for ducts and vents! This was after the «discount» and then they got him to finance the work through them.
Fortunately, we were able to cancel the contract because it was within 7 days. Our handyman was able to fix the «problem» for less than $ 20. Also, the filter they sold him cost $ 150 and they sold him an «extra» even though they only need to be replaced every 3 – 5 years! The exact same filter was $ 27 including shipping on Amazon.

I was having issues with my AC for a few weeks and was putting off giving someone a call because I did not know of any good places.
A coworker of mine recommended this place because they had previously worked on their home and said they were very professional and reasonably priced.
I decided to give them a call and schedule an appointment because I was getting tired of being in the heat! They were very friendly and helpful upon arrival, they let me know what the issues were and what they were going to do and I was able to get my AC back that day!

They called in April looking for new business. We weren’t having a problem, but it was time for a checkup before hot weather hit. This review is mixed because (1)the service does not appear to me to have been done; (2) the manager at IAQ (Mike) was very nice when i spoke with him and assured me his company would not scam anyone, and he refunded part of my costs. Here’s what happened ⁴⁄₂₂: IAQ said we needed 7 lbs of freon (we said okay), and said our ducts weren’t sealed. We had had our whole house sealed by a reputable company 4 yrs ago. Indoor Air guy went back up to our attic and «took a photo» on his cell phone, and showed it to us. Big gap. Now it’s July 30, and our regular A/​C company came to check out our problem (no cold air) — reported that all our freon is low, which would not be unless we have a leak (no leak) or it wasn’t added, or was let out by someone. Plus, all our ducts ARE sealed. So where did that photo come from? Already on his phone to make us feel we need more service? I have no way of verifying what IAQ did or didn’t do. I only know we now have cold air, thanks to the service done 7/​30, not ⁴⁄₂₂. I hope IAQ is as wonderful as they say — Mike was very convincing that they’re in business to serve people. Don’t you just hate to be caught in the middle like this? («He said, they said, it’s the other guy’s fault…»)

I agreed to a deal concerning a diagnostic inspection and vent cleaning service of $ 49.99 after receiving 3 phone calls from this company advertising their ‘deal’.Huge mistake! The technicians that came out did a superficial overview and pointed out the obvious (that which I could see) and then told us we needed to replace our ducts in the attic. The estimate came to $ 3900.00 originally and with my Triple A membership they said they could lower the cost to $ 3500.00.We decided to hold off for other estimates and thank God we did. We found out not only did many of our ducts NOT need to be replaced but our thermostat was old and with that we ended up spending $ 700.00 total to repair our system versus the $ 3900.00 estimate this company gave us. They charged us $ 49.99 to ‘tell’ us what they thought needed to be done and did NOT clean the vents or even give us a new filter. I I called and spoke with a supervisor and asked for our $ 49.99 back since they did not do the ‘$ 49.99 vent cleaning’ that was promised. He said he would refund our money but he disagreed with me. It has been 7 days and there is no refund yet. I would not trust this company Ito be honest period!

Total scam people. Call daily and say they will clean ducts, clean dryer vent and clean furnace for $ 49.00 $ 39.00 if they can schedule right away.
When they came they tell you air is leaking from furnace and you need a special UV electronic filter that will cost $ 650.00.
They also say you need a deep cleaning on the furnace and it will cost an additional $ 350.00.
You don’t have the type of venting for the $ 39.00 fee.
Do not use these people. Total rip off.

I received a call from this company this morning. They said that they were a «local» company. When I asked what was «local» she said they were in Canoga Park. When I asked for an address, they gave me an address in Calabasas. That is 46.6 miles from my home in Whittier. Local, ha!!!
I am also on the Do Not Call List, and apparently they do not pay any attention to it.

I had the «technicians» from this company at my house 4÷29÷14: After I informed them that I only wanted my air ducts cleaned & not a whole new furnace, they left saying they needed to get something from their truck, and they never returned. I spoke to a woman in their office about this & she said she’d check & call me back, but she never did. This company is clearly fraudulent. My advice: Have nothing to do with them & never let their «technicians» inside your house !

Who would hire these people?. They have a telephone scam going and I can’t get rid of them. They have been calling on and off for two years. Check out 800notes. and look at all the negatives. They do not honor the DO NOT CALL list and they do not honor requests to be put on the internal DO NOT CALL list.

They never finished the job they were paid to do and called me to threaten me because of my HONEST review .
They broke FEDERAL LAW to begin with so don’t expect anything but misery from these crooks .

O.K., as Mike said, they sent a crew out on Thursday ²⁄₂₀ to do the duct cleaning they’d charged for but never done, _​ONLY_​after I told «Mike «that I had photographs showing the filthy intake grille that had never been cleaned or even touched, covered in dust bunnies .
They sent the lying, dishonest daniel elad again he said hello then sat in the truck while the helper cleaned _​ONE_​heating vent in short order, ignoring the filthy intake grille and the rest of the ducts before leaving quickly. I have photos of the uncleaned intake grille, it will take less than one minute to do this but they couldn’t be bothered as they’ve already been paid .
Then the manager ’ Mike ’ called again and was rude to my Lady because of this honest review, he lied and said the ducts had been cleaned and insisted I remove this BAD review .
At no time did he apologize for his company’s lying and basic dishonesty on several levels ~ these are immigrants who are embarrassing those of us who come to America to succeed by hard work and honesty, fair play and humility .
Remember: the salesman daniel told us repeatedly how difficult and time consuming the duct cleaning would be, «THREE HOURS PLUS «is what he told us and repeated that time frame several times, ’ mike ’ insisted it cannot possibly take that long but never apologized for daniel’s lying about that in order to make the $ 1,279.00 sale .
If you use this rip off company you have only your self to be blamed if the job goes sour .
