I specialize in Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Mayan Abdominal Massage, and Energy Balancing. I tailor each massage so that what is needed or wanted by my clients is included in the session. I am intuitive and my hands are able to find, work and release the knots and blocked areas on each of my client’s bodies. I serve my clients unique needs with a collaborative approach of many different techniques.

I was certified in Mayan Abdominal Massage in 2004. It is an alternative treatment that eliminates the primary cause of most female complaints-​the congested &/​or displaced uterus-​thereby preventing the progression of symptoms to chronic disease. I recommend it to all my female clients. Several of my clients have had babies when they had previously had wondered if they would ever be able to.

My massage sessions are done in the comfort and convenience of my client’s home or office.

History

Established in 1994.

I graduated Baltimore School of Massge in 1994. I started out doing seated massage and doing some house calls. I built my business through referrals from various professionals, friends and people at my church. Right from the beginning, I loved seeing my clients looking so much happier and more relaxed when they left after a session. As time has passed, I have taken a variety of different types of massage courses and as I’ve learned new techniques and gained experience, I’ve had that much more to offer my clients.

I have many clients that have been coming to see me for many years and we have developed strong relationships. It has been very rewarding to see how their lives have evolved and that I get to know these amazing people because of my business.

Business Owner

Connie grew up in Montgomery Co, MD. She graduated college w/​a BS in psych. By the time she was 25, she was a full-​time artist, wife and Mom.

A few years later, she divorced and decided it was time for a change in careers. She attended grad school in Social Work while raising her young son. After a year, she decided to switch schools and learn Massage Therapy instead. She graduated in 1994.

As she began working w/​her massage clients she felt a great satisfaction from knowing she was helping them in their lives to feel less stressed and more able to cope because they were more comfortable in their bodies. She saw chronic pains and injuries heal. All of this and much more!

In 2010, Connie took a break from massage to grieve the loss of her parents and to recover from a bad car accident.

As she healed, she grew in empathy for other people’s pain and grief.

Now, she is back doing her much loved career of massage therapy for the clients that choose to entrust her with their care.
