Great food and friendly service. The burgers are out of this world but the specials are 5 stars! They have accommodated us with small parties and large. Definitely worth the flight of stairs! Great time!

It’s a great place to go to if you don’t have high expectations. We had a waitress who was wearing shorts that were way too short and a strapless shirt. Way too inappropriate for a waitress. The food was just like diner food. One thing I noticed that was a big turn off was that as soon as you get in the door you have to walk up 20 stairs. What if I wanted to bring a grandparent or someone in a wheelchair? Guess we’d be denied service then.

I like this place, They always have interesting beers, and the burgers are great. I had the home made pasta and sausage special recently and it was delicious. Yummy French Onion soup, and my boyfriend loves the zinger mountain chicken fingers. I have spoken with the owner a couple of times too, and he was a really cool guy.

I don’t know anything about the restaurant upstairs but everybody should stay away from the trashy bar downstairs. Everything was ok until my friend and I went to pay the bill. We asked if she could split the check because the bartender Cassandra had put us on the same check without asking us even though we order separately and were at two separate tables. She then got extremely rude and starting huffing and puffing about how it’s just and bar and she can’t do this all the time. We apologized and my friend said she didn’t understand and was told by the bartender never to come back. She then turned to me and said«you know what you left me a s*** tip last week and a s*** tip last week so you don’t come back either. She then started calling my friend a f****** b**** and came around the bar and got in her face asking her if she wanted to take it out side. Never in my life have I or anybody I was with been cursed at and threatened with physical violence by any employee of an establishment we were at and I shouldn’t have to experience that anywhere. If you are looking for a good time and good drinks avoid this trash heap and go elsewhere.

Can I give negative stars! NEVERGOTOTHISBAR! I was threatened with physical violence from the bartender and cursed at. The bartender came from around the bar and wanted to «take it outside.» The bartender told me to never come back again. I would never go back to this place again and I will tell the world to never go ever. The bar tenders name was Cassandra and frankly was the rudest most disrespectful person I have ever met. When I go out I don’t expect to leave after being physically and verbally threatened. I will never ever go back and you can expect me to spread the bad word about this dump.

The food is great! Go to the dining room upstairs, not the bar downstairs; they are two separate entities.

Good food, horrible service. If the service wasn’t so terrible I would probably go back. Wrong wings came out — they brought them back to the kitchen and just tossed them again in a different sauce over the one that was wrong. Pretty disappointed

Don’t judge a book by its cover! The Trackside is a great restaurant. The food is great and the atmosphere is very family friendly. The restaurant itself is upstairs and completely separate from the downstairs bar. We have never had a bad meal here. In the summer, sitting outside on the patio is great too. There is something here for everyone — from burgers to gourmet entrees, and the prices are great too.

Lived in Bloomingdale for a while and I must say I was skeptical of this place when suggested by a friend. Its literally a hole in the wall location. However, once you go upstairs there was a healthy number of people. We sat down at the bar and just had burgers. I was not impressed with their beer selection whatsoever(I just changed my rating from 4 to 3 stars). Why they dont have anything from High Point Brewing just a few blocks away I do not know. In either case, this is the place for burgers… stuffed burgers! Ordered one of the usual ones and had it slightly customized. They will literally put anything in there! Mine was something with fresh moz and some veggies. I had requested red peppers and they forgot to include that in there. However, I only noticed this a few hours after I demolished the burger. The thing was huge and delicious! Could easy feed 2 people for lunch, but I was hungry. As for service, it was a bit slow and had to ask a few times for water refill and they had to get more straws as they ran out. The burger took forever — however, this is good! It was definitely made to order! In summary, get a growler from Greg at High Point Brewing in the day and come here for lunch/dinner to order a stuffed burger(they have a special menu for these, ask for it!). Afterward, drink the growler somewhere discrete.

Food here is awesome. Well priced n original. The chef created new n interesting meals. Try this place, don’t judge it by the bar its attached to.

Ate here last night — second time I did. The first time was fine, but after last night’s experience I won’t be returning. We ate in the restaurant area upstairs from the bar. Server was very sweet, but kept forgetting things. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS. Average price for a BURGER was about $ 9.50. There does not appear to be a menu for kids. My daughter ordered a cheddar cheeseburger, it was on an oversized english muffin. The wraps my husband and I ordered were about the same price. The wraps were very nicely sized and I really liked the buffalo wrap I had. I split my wrap with my husband, he had the chicken parm wrap, but I didn’t like it very much(maybe the spices killed my tastebuds — can’t say for sure). The fries that came with the meals were fine. We ordered diet colas, which were terrible — the syrup was off and tasted like the seltzer bit was more prominent. Server brought us bottled birch beer as replacement. But the worst part was that it took at LEAST45 minutes for our food to be brought out, but closer to an hour. My kid was ready to gnaw my arm off, and the server was obviously avoiding us. Sad thing was we were the ONLY patrons in the place. I was just about to get the check for the drinks when they finally came out with the food. Three entrees(no appetizers) and 3 drinks cost us $ 47 with tip. The bill had virtually nothing written on it except the total, so I couldn’t tell what we were charged for drinks but I suspect about $ 2.50 each. They have a lot of guts charging the prices they do. I could have had virtually the same meal at a diner for half the price and in less than half the time.

This dingy spot, according to my aging relatives, hasn’t changed much since the late 1960’s. There’s a shuffleboard table, a long bar, and a seriously nasty men’s room. The clientele are usually friendly, but I can’t say I’ve never gotten a sideways glance at the Trackside. There was a really nice restaurant upstairs for a while that had, literally, track-side patio dining, but last time I checked the restaurant was no longer open for business — bummer.
