Office machine sales and repair service. Factory authorized warrantee repair for Brother, Canon, Okidata and Samsung. We also service HP, Lexmark, Konica/​Minolta, Sharp, Ricoh, Epson, Xerox and Zebra printers, and we also service typewriters.

We sell supplies for printers and typewriters, including toners, drums, fusers, maintenance kits, ribbons, correction tape, print wheels, type elements, and more.

History

Established in 1912.

It’s been a family affair since 1912, when Erick Wagner established the typewriter business in the lower level of his home in the Brighton Park area. With his wife Louise, they continued to expand and improve the business.

Erik’s son, Harold, was involved in the business at an early age. When World War II erupted, Harold was drafted and he traveled throughout Europe repairing Army base office machines.

After Harold’s retirement, sons Eric and Arthur became the third generation to continue in the family tradition.

Located in Chicago for much of that time, they are now located in Burr Ridge, IL, and owned and operated by Arthur.

The business has evolved over the years to accommodate many new technologies including digital color copiers, multifunction fax machines, color laser printers and more.

They remain one of the oldest office machine repair businesses in Chicagoland, and still sell and service typewriters and supplies, alongside the current technologies.
