Like the maple syrup and the cheeses, the Maple Creemee is a foodie must-try when visiting Vermont. If you have to pick up that one last Maple Creemee before leaving Vermont, the perfect place to get a single, double, or a triple cone is at Ice Cream Bob’s. Within walking distance from the Waterfront and just steps from ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center, Ice Cream Bob’s is a little hot dog and ice cream stand. A Creemee is a soft-serve vanilla ice cream or a frozen custard made with Vermont Maple syrup or maple sugar. When I arrived Ice Cream Bob’s, I was in need of something satisfying. I had just drove 2 ½ hours and I was in need for something refreshing. Ice Cream Bob’s Maple Creemee does not compare to the one that I had at Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks. It’s not as maplely in flavor, but it was still a very satisfying treat. It’s CASH only. There’s an ATM on the premises for convenience.

This is a modest little stand alongside the bike path. But it serves amazingly good soft ice cream(called Creemees, which is what we thought the place was called, because of the big sign.) We stopped by twice each day during our visit to Burlington. Delicious soft ice cream!!! The maple-rasberry swirl was our favorite.
