We’re downtown Burlington’s bakery. Organic hearth-baked breads, baguettes. Scones, cinnamon rolls, galettes, cookies. Breakfast sandwiches on our own 7Grain rolls. Lunch– Delicious soup, panini, sandwiches, and salads. Locally roasted fair trade organic coffee and espresso.
We’re open on Friday nights for flatbread pizza. $ 12 per person for unlimited flatbread & salad. The selection changes throughout the night, and includes everything from VT Smoke & Cure pepperoni pizzas to Pear/Bleu Cheese/Walnut. Locally brewed Switchback on tap!

Business Owner
Phil started baking when he was a hippy living in a teepee, but mastered the trade in the late 90’s when he apprenticed at San Diego Artisan Bread Bakers. He moved to the Adirondacks, where he opened Merrick’s Bread and Coffee in an old feed store. He created a local phenomenom with organic artisan breads, and coffee roasted in their wood-fired oven.
