Feedback: I highly recommend you consider World Class Pianos for your musical instrument needs. They have fantastic pianos and their customer service is superb. From the moment I walked into the store and was greeted by Ben to show their impressive piano selection, to negotiations and pricing, to ordering the piano I selected, to follow-​up on delivery by Ben and Joe, the experience was wonderful throughout. Joe even called the day of delivery to make sure everything was to my expectations. Finally, the delivery folks assembled everything outside to make sure there are no debris at our house. Thank you, World Class Pianos!

After searching for our first piano in seven different piano stores in the Bay Area, I bought a used Schimmel grand from World Class Pianos. Joe was very patient with me and my two little children, was not at all pushy, and let us spend a lot of time trying out different pianos. The prices seemed to be fair, and overall, I had a very pleasant purchasing experience at this store. Although the store is on the small side, it carried quite a nice selection of pianos. Honestly, some of the piano stores that I visited were completely lacking in integrity, but World Class Pianos was truly classy in both the quality of their instruments and in their service.

Joe and Ben are gentle, lovely people. They’ve been wonderful as we narrow down to our specific piano. We’ve fallen in love, of course, with a piano that’s quite a bit beyond our budget — the tone is just spectacular — and they’ve been stars about helping us figure out options to bring it home without us ever feeling any pressure. The pricing has been transparent and straight-​forward, and, I’ll say, extremely competitive. We appreciate that. In the end we want to buy here because, our beautiful piano aside, Joe and Ben have been engaged, straightforward, helpful, knowledgeable, and all around great guys. It’s been an incredibly positive experience to work with them. This is a great piano store.

I walked in to the store over a year ago to rent a piano for my son and borrowed an upright at a very reasonable price. I wasn’t sure if my son was going to stick with playing piano so this seemed like the best option. They told me that the rental fee could be used towards a future purchase which was definitely a plus. We rented over a year and decide we were ready to commit and did some research. We looked on craigslist and visited a few local stores to compare prices. We could’ve gotten a brand new upright or a baby grand, but when we walked in to World Class Pianos, we found the perfect grand piano. It was used, but in excellent condition and the price was definitely a great deal. We were able to use our rental fee towards our purchase which they had mentioned before and it definitely brought down the price. We worried about the size not being able to fit in our living room and Ben, the piano consultant was so patient with us while we tried to decide. He played piano beautifully and was never pushy or salesy like others we’ve experienced in the area.
After we decided to purchase the piano, i got a chance to speak with the owner, Joe who was also very sweet. He kindly explained the history of the piano and seemed very knowledgeable. We had our piano delivered yesterday and i can’t say how happy we are with our purchase.
After looking on craigslist and other stores, we decided that World class pianos was overall very honest and had great service. I’m sure there are great deals on craigslist, but sometimes you don’t know what you are getting in to. I felt very confident about my decision and felt that i could really trust them. I would definitely go back to world class pianos if i ever decide to upgrade my piano.

If I could give no stars I would, seeking a piece of Equipment where I was rudely turned down and told to «learn how to read» as in their website it states they have guitar equipment. I have never been so mistreated or spoken down to as the gentleman working in there this morning, there are better quality choices where service is more personable if your going to spend that kind of
Money you deserve more professional service.

World Class Pianos rates excellent!!! Joe is full of knowledge and his customer service is first class! He spends as much time as you need and I felt like all my questions were important to him too. I love my piano and honestly I would not purchase anywhere else. He is professional and kind. If you are looking for a piano, you can trust World Class Pianos!

I just love the owner here. He always takes the time to educate me and give me needed information and recommendations. Great family to do business and learn from. And we love Kevin Wong who is an amazing teacher and salesman.

Nice older couple who I think own the store. Really sweet, always friendly. Their inventory is kind of curious, not so great brands and quite expensive. The older gentleman seems to be always on a sales pitch, and after a while you’re not sure if you really should trust his advice especially if you are a newbie to pianos.

This was a fantastic customer experience — we purchased a Roland digital piano from Joe — he was an expert salesman — allowed us to take our time and ask questions — I did not feel pressured at all. After an open, fair, and honest deal, he followed up with attentive customer service — he sent regular emails to keep me up to date on the status of the delivery. Joe is a 50+ year veteran in the piano industry and it is clear why he is so successful — he really cares about customer service and satisfaction.

What a gem of a store! World Class Piano carries an excellent line of products and really understands customer service.
On my first visit, Maryann and Ron spent a great deal of time patiently showing me their inventory and answering all my questions. I can smell a sales pitch a mile away and can say their approach was direct, honest, and never pushy. After visiting 7 other stores in the Bay Area, I found their easygoing style very refreshing.
A few days later I came back to purchase the used Schimmel I had seen. Joe, the owner, spent several hours meticulously going over the entire piano with me and educating me about the piano’s history. Joe is a real veteran of the business and knows pianos. He is also very personable and generous with his time. I felt like I got first class treatment and a great education in pianos.
I highly recommend World Class Piano, and would purchase from them again in a heartbeat.

Great piano selection, knowledgable about piano servcies such as movers, tuners, piano players, teachers, repair… you need it, he has it and is all too generous and willing to help. Spent about over a hour at the store playing on the Roland Digital Pianos and asking Joe numerous questions. I already did my research and knew the market price for the Roland HP-​305 and was able to get a great deal on a pair of Roland HP-​305; in addition, was able to a great deal on a pair of Roland RH-​A30 Headphones. In addition, Joe has great communication and gave me constant updates on the status of the Piano being delivered.

I just bought a great Roland digital piano here recently and had a good experience. There was no sleazy, high pressure sales b.s. that you occasionally get from piano salesmen. Joe, the proprietor, gave me ample time to try out the various pianos in the shop, and I enjoyed a straightforward, professional transaction at a good price.
One word of advice I would give is to do your homework and learn all you can on the web about the various models and prices out there. The market can be pretty opaque because manufacturers limit the distribution of these pianos to authorized dealers, and you have to use a little more creativity than usual with google to research prices and other important relevant information. Doing this preparation will let you know what a good price is and allow you to enter any negotiations with better information. Once you’ve done this and are ready to buy, World Class Pianos is a good choice.
