I have been a patient of CTRI for 4 years. In the past year i have been treated unprofessionally and will little care about my health. Today they terminated my care because one of the medications THEY put me on is not covered by my insurance. Seriously!!! You’re terminating my care for a medication YOU put me on? I told them I wanted to remain under Dr. Svensson’s care but was told i had to call my insurance to get a new provider. Wow… i can’t believe a medical faciilty treats their patients this way.

There are a bunch of one star reviews on the old site, but I unfortunately had the displeasure of working with Lody Cura who is one of the LMFTs there. Both her Therapy and ethics are lacking. First of all, Lody Cura is a LMFT at this site. Do not waste your time. She physically pushed me in her office when I challenged her for misrepresenting facts about my life and even forgot basic facts about my symptoms She also took one line of notes or none (as she admitted), for each session after the first two sessions, and was yawning through half of my sessions. I called the Burlingame police regarding her violent hostile behavior. She pretends to be supportive and nice at first but is a revengeful, bitter person who clearly came from a depraved background in her country, and is looking for as many fees as she can get. She has a very thick accent which would have been ok if she at least added value to the sessions, is not well educated as she does not know what basic English words in her field mean even though she has lived here for more than 20 years, will lie and be resentful of you if you challenge her when she states she does not remember facts about your life repeatedly, is greedy for charging bogus no-​show fees or double fees even for the same session, or if you appear smarter than her for politely explaining basic English Words to her that she claims she does «not know what they mean)». In addition, she misrepresented herself on insurance paperwork by stating that she is an MD and a PsyD, when she is a LMFT/​social worker. This was after she lied and stated Dr. Tsvennson would sign off on the insurance paperwork when I asked her from the start of working with her since I was told by staff that LMFTs have their paperwork signed off on for Insurance Paperwork. Dr. Tsvennson told me he does not sign off on paperwork 6 months later (1^st opportunity I had to speak with him as I have never seen him present when there since he has another practice location) and after I invested time and energy into wasted therapy session with this unethical, lowbrow, uneducated, bitter woman. Lody did not even know what the word «frenetic» meant among other English words as she kept asking me what basic English words meant, and she again has lived in this country for over 20 years She also charges you no-​show fees when she in fact cancelled the appointment. Unethical beyond belief. The office also is very disorganized and there is no accountability. She took one line of handwritten notes during sessions after the first two and then fabricated a bunch of stuff on my insurance claim with bogus statements that were provable lies. I am filing a formal Complaint, as I believe this woman should have her license taken away. That’s how bad she is. She also tried to turn her violent behavior against me by lying and saying she was afraid I would hurt her even though I never swore at her, never threatened her or touched her. I just let her know how disgusted I was with her manipulative resentful behavior, and for completely wasting my time. She acted like a jealous schoolgirl toward me versus a therapist as she clearly found me a threat to her for challenging her behavior and her repeated forgetfulness (which became really obvious within the last 30 – 45 days I was seeing with her), also given I escalated her greed and incompetence and was on to her phony behavior to try to string me along for more sessions and pay while providing no value. To add insult to injury, she deliberately lied about the facts of my life and my symptoms on an Insurance matter after I escalated her behavior to staff and Dr. Tsvennson. At least, I filed a police report and they saw the cameras at CTRI where I never touched her. I would never physically hurt anyone but if you lie about me and expect me to not do what is within my rights to escalate such slimy, dirty unethical behavior, you are wrong. I will do what is in my rights to report this woman’s abusive behavior. She also lied and said she never pushed me and the office mentioned there are no cameras in her office, only in the hallways. That is why Lody probably pushed me in her office knowing she could get away with it, as it would be a she said she said argument with no proof. She is also an unethical social climber (She is not even close to MD or PsyD material as she misrepresented herself on the insurance paperwork, and wouldn’t even be able to understand what most medical terms mean). This was the worst experience I have had with any person in the medical field, but then again, she is at the bottom rank. STAY AWAY!
