Fawad Malik MD is a Board Certified psychiatrist. He completed an internship at Cedar Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, followed by a residency training program at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco with an emphasis on Biological Psychiatry and various psychotherapeutic modalities. He served as Chief Resident during his last year of residency. He furthered his professional training with the completion of a Fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center in Mood Disorders and Psychopharmacology, dedicating his time equally to research and clinical work. While there, he co-​authored a paper on genetic transmission of mood disorders and their familial patterns.

Dr. Malik has been treating clients with an emphasis on mood disorders – namely depression, bipolar disorder, and co-​occurring anxiety. He treats his patients with focus on medication and therapy. He maintains a busy clinical outpatient practice and works in the community treating patients in various settings.
