Potted tea with black tea is my favorite. You can’t go wrong with this refreshing drink. The employees are sweet and can be very helpful with deciding which drink to have. The atmosphere is peaceful. It’s very clean and has a great herbal smell because of the tea being used. I highly suggest this place. Plenty of parking spaces as well. Convenient to food spots as well of your feeling hungry. **Highly recommended: potted tea with black tea and drink it the way they suggest to have it. Take the cap off and sip-enjoy.

Going to a tea café after a meal has become almost tradition rather than just a daily plan among my friends. I guess this time we can attribute it to post dimsum cravings. I had never heard of tiger tea before but I am very glad that we found it on Unilocal!4.5 stars! We had to see just how good this place was! The interior of the café was decently spacious with seating on two sides. It looked well kept and clean. I think the menu wasn’t huge, but that’s good because it makes me decision easier. They also have a top 5 drink list out front, which I used to decide on the roast oolong. I really enjoyed the roasted oolong flavor and thought the sweetness was perfect! I highly recommend it and believe that anything in the top 5 is worth trying. I think I only regret not getting a large size. I saw a few fruit tea flavors so I will keep a look out for that the next time I go!

I don’t even know how we got here, but we drove by and decided to grab some boba! I ordered the Earl Gray potted plant milk tea with boba while my boyfriend got the Strawberry Jasmine green tea with boba. I don’t remember his very much, but it was probably because I was in love with my own drink. It was pretty cute with the Oreo«dirt» and the little parsley«sprout» but I think it would have been better with a mint leaf for flavor reasons. The boba was very soft, chewy, with the right amount of sweetness. We ordered a Pistachio macaron ice cream sandwich too. The colors make it look like watermelon, but the taste is pistachio. Pretty good, but not something I would get again especially compared to my potted plant tea. Overall, I would go back. I have my eye on the lavender milk tea!

Clean, neat little place. The furniture and overall vibe boasts«hipster,» with wooden tables and cozy single-person couches. Walls are decorated with hanging plants/succulent looking things. I came at night, and there are no windows in the back, so it gave me the uneasy feeling of being confined, especially since the place is so small. I did not order anything off the top 5 most-ordered items, as I am very particular to when it comes to my milk tea. Next time I’ll give them a try. I ordered the coconut milk tea with boba and egg pudding, light sweet. I probably should have went for the full sweet because the overall flavor was kind of bland, and there was barely any egg pudding.

Ohhhhh girl, the drinks are good here. I was so over the crema drinks after I drank them non-stop for a year at Gong Cha, Sharetea and even 85C. It was just getting to be too much for my sensitive tummy. The Potted Plant drink here is so cute. It’s kind of like the normal salted crema milk tea that you get but with some dirt(crushed Oreo’s) to add a little sweetness and texture. You can drink it in two different ways: 1) open the cap and sip it up(I like this method because you get a lot of the cream) or 2) mix it up(which evenly distributes the salty flavor all throughout leaving a more balanced drink). I got the Roasted Ooolong which had a medium strength tea flavor. I’m just glad this drink wasn’t overly sweetened(I didn’t adjust the sugar) or watery. I will definitely come back. Rawr.

Recommended my friend about tiger tea because she really likes Matcha and so far nowhere has really impressed her. But she returned a second time with me! I’ve only tried the pot plant drinks; milk tea, earl grey milk tea, and matcha. All were really good but remember to get LESSICE!!! Idk. maybe a personal thing but I tend to finished my drink literally in five minute. I’m the type if the drink taste good, I will drink it all at once !! My fiend, too, finished her drink fast and we end up craving more… But we resisted The ambiance was very nice. A little noisy for studying but it’s a tapioca and drinks place, we can’t complain. Overall, the staff was nice and even remembered my drink after the first time. The drinks were consistent and the boss really cares about the customers. My favorite drinks here are the Matcha potted plant and earl grey potted plant

Potted… Plant… Milk… Tea… SOGOOD. I usually don’t fancy such items, as I just praised above, but for my wife and I to return 6 times to this place, they must be doing something right. The crema on top of the potted plant is really good. I’m actually a little lactose but I risk the uncomfortable results just because I like it so much. I’ve tried the teas as well and they are just as good. They kind of skimp on the add on items such as boba or aloe but that’s not enough to ding them. The location is pretty good as well in a plaza with a lot of older businesses this one sticks out as the modern new comer with a great new interior and sit down atmosphere if you want to hang out for a while. We definitely will be coming back.

Yes I’m going through a Crema phase and so when I saw they had it on the menu, I had to order their Green Tea Crema. One sip and ahhhh super refreshing! The green tea flavor is crisp and sweetened just the right amount. The cream makes the entire drink rich and smooth. The only gripe I have is because the top is an actual lid, I can’t shake the Crema like I usually do. Instead I have to use the straw to mix which leaves most of the cream on top. It’s not a big thing since it still tastes quite nice. I would definitely return and maybe try their potted plant drink: D

Delicious milk tea in the area! I always come here before heading to SFO to pick someone up or to wait for a flight. Conveniently ~10 minutes away from the airport and you get free wifi! I love that they offer organic Strauss milk, which makes the mill tea taste delicious. My favorite was the matcha latte potted plant drink, their matcha was very good. Also they are currently having their seasonal strawberry drinks, made with real strawberry!

This boba shop can be found in the Burlingame Plaza(on the the hospital side) where Lunardi’s Market is located and a few doors down from Little Lucca’s Sandwich Shop. Parking is generally plentiful. A few tables in the back and stool seating in the front. No outdoor seating. Signs everywhere stating no outside food or drinks. I went in one day to get a taro milk tea and to my surprise, the drink was brown as opposed to the usual purple. This is okay since I later found out it is normal for taro to be brown. HOWEVER, the drink had a chocolate taste to it. They reassured me that it was indeed taro so I left with my chocolate tasting taro milk tea. They thought they had seen the last of me but I came back another day to expose them. We ordered the taro milk tea and the chocolate milk tea. Same taste, same color, EXPOSED.

This is a little hidden gem inside the Burlingame Plaza. I didn’t even know this place existed until I was doing some surfing on Unilocal. This little boba place is located at the end of the Burlingame Plaza, where you basically can’t even see it! We ordered the: Potted plant oolong tea with boba: Boba was very good, very chewy and definitely cooked well, drink was kinda sweet Blush lady with lychee: Lychee is such a great combo for this drink! It’s basically grapefruit with soda water, but I liked it, wish it would not been so sweet Pretty good boba tea place, wouldn’t be my first choice because the drinks are too sweet for my taste

I had been waiting for a good boba tea shop to open up in Burlingame for a very long time. My prayers have been answered and I now have a go to tea shop near my workplace. Tiger Tea is a very cutesy tea shop that has a simple but warm interior. There is one communal table in back with a few bar stools where you can catch up with friends. My favorite drink there is the orange green tea with club soda. It runs $ 3.95 for a 16 oz. which is on the pricey side but not surprising given they’re in Burlingame. Service is friendly but on the slow side. There are just a few other tea options in the area but I would have to say that Tiger Tea is the leader as far as tea quality, at least until more options open up in Burlingame.

I ROAR for Tiger Tea & Juice. I’m incredibly surprised and pleased that Burlingame/Millbrae area has a really great tea spot! I actually prefer Tiger Tea instead of the T-pumps and Quickly in Burlingame. It has high quality tea without syrup or powder. FRESHTEA? YESPLEASE. Tiger Tea & Juice is located in the corner of the Burlingame Plaza. The ambiance is clean, minimalistic, with some stool chairs, a couple of couches and a big wooden table with seating in the back. No outside food allowed! There are TONS of tea options: smoothies, milk teas, fruit flavored teas. My favorite is the Milk Tea Potted Plant(creama covered with an Oreo crumble). Crema is subtle, but the drink has a great balance of sweet and salty. The presentation also looked pretty! The boba is super delicious and one of the highlights of their drinks — soft, sweet(but not too sweet), yet a good chewy texture. Out of all the tea places I’ve been to in the Bay Area, their boba is my favorite. My favorite go-to tea spot in the Peninsula. You have to check it out!

Tiger Tea & Juice has become my go-to place for my boba cravings! I’ve had about 10 drinks off heir extensive menu and all of them have been pretty good. I love the strong tea flavor and the boba is perfectly chewy and sweet. A few superstars are: –Good olé’ Milk Tea with boba –Thai Tea with boba –Oolong Milk Tea with boba –Banana Coconut Smoothie with boba(super yum!) –Strawberry Banana Smoothie with boba I also encourage you to sign up for their reward-point system. They occasionally send texts about offers like BOGO or free topping with your order, especially if you are a frequent customer. My only complain from this place is that they do not allow outside food because of the smell and they only offer one size cup… BUT I am happy to report that they listened to the people and now offer 2 cup sizes! They have the regular size and a larger cup! Hooray!!! As for the food, I’m hoping they’ll catch on to that soon… Thumbs up TT&J :)

When I think of cities with good boba spots, Millbrae/Burlingame is not the first city that comes to mind… in fact, it’s not even a city that comes to mind at all. Tiger Tea&Juice changes all that! I came in today and originally ordered a Jasmine milk tea with pearls. However, after seeing their Top 5 Drinks list(see picture), I decided to get a Roasted Oolong Milk Tea instead. I asked the barista if it was too late to change my order, she smiled and said no, and happily made my drink. While my drink was being made I looked around the shop and really liked what I saw: hipster vibe with very modern décor. LOVED it! Small, but I could see Tiger Tea being a great place to study. The staff was friendly and quick! In less than a minute my drink was ready. They also use the FiveStars program: buy 10 drinks, get 1 free. Now onto the star of the show, the drink: AMAZING! I love it when I can go to a spot and just order off the menu without having to adjust the sweetness/flavor/ratio of milk to tea. It was ever so slightly sweeter than I would have liked, but it was still very delicious. And the pearls?! Perfectly cooked with the perfect amount of sweetness. Overall, great drinks, service, and prices! I can’t wait to come back and try more things off the menu.

The number of times people mistaken me for a Hispanic. makes me want to tell them«BRUH, I’m full Chinese. and I have the daily dose of boba MT to prove it.»(not saying that only Asians drink MT, but… it means SOMETHINGRIGHT!!!) New and rising star(mark my words), Tiger Tea is making it’s mark in the SSF territory. :Atmosphere/Service/Parking: Imagine if a Korean coffee place and HK coffee shops had a baby. Tiger tea would be the baby. It had cutesy plants decorated here and there and several hung on the wall. It had a big table with long benches on both sides, a small table with two comfy couches on both sides, a wall bar with high chairs on one side. A pretty spacious place, but limited seatings. THEREWEREHELLAOUTLETS, YOUKNOWWHATTHATMEANS… study party…(such a nerd, i know –___-) The cashier was super nice. She was patient with my indecisiveness. I wanted something that looks nice(potted plant matcha) BUT i also wanted to try something new that sounds HELLA good(blushing lady) since I had match drinks two days straight before I came to Tiger. I ended up with…(to be revealed). Parking was easy peasy. There was a whole parking lot and there was barely anyone on a Monday at 8pm. :DRINKS: Potted Plant Matcha drink 3.95 + Red bean toppings(extra $ 0.50): BEAUTIFUL. It looked good(ya know presentation is KEY) and tasted great. The combination of matcha and red beans can compete to be the new«goes together like peanut butter and jelly» phrase. The matcha was just the right amount of bitter kick as it was well overpowered by the green tea/milk. The potted plant look made things even better. Oreo bits & a green leaf thing(I REALLYDONTEATVEGGIESSO I DONTKNOWTHEM) subbed in for the plant look. They also had a thin layer of cream on top of the milk. YOUKNOWIMPICKYWITHMYMILKTEA. And usually places try to attempt the SoCal potted plant look but doesnt taste good at all. But this place mastered the look and taste. You can pick SEVERAL teas to be potted plant and not just the regular milk tea like most other places. ***ACCEPTSCREDITCARDSWITHNOMINIMUM*** :update: Blushing lady: actual fresh grapefruit juice with sparking soda. Pretty interesting mix! Super refreshing. But I’ll prob stick to the match potted plant. I wasn’t too obsessed with it

A new boba shop in Millingame? This must be the 5th one in Millbrae, but what a great addition to the boba party. Just letting you know they don’t serve food/snacks(pss… Donuts next door). Anyways located on the Trousdale corner of the Burlingame plaza, this modern boba shop is def not hard to miss. It’s modern looking with its cool tone grey walls and simple furniture to furnish. You can get your pick of sitting at the bar stools, the wooden community table, or a lounge seat. Their most popular drink is the potted tea. Your pick of tea and whether you want boba or not. I went with roasted oolong because it’s naturally more bitter so it off sets any sweetness when mixed with milk tea. Overall the drink was just right. It wasn’t too sweet and I love the cream mixed with some Oreos to get that soil look. Yum. I’ll have to come back and try their other drinks. Like I said no snacks yet… But next time I’m back visiting the parents, I’ll drop by to try another drink. I heard service is kind of crappy in the day from my friend because it’s all trainees, but don’t let that discourage you from trying out the place. Otherwise come at night. It’s pretty quiet.

Yum! Had a very relaxing drink at Tiger Tea today. The interior here is really cute and kinda hipster. My drink was as mellow as the interior. The most unique thing I could see on the menu was the potted plant drink, so I got a matcha with aloe. The potted plant is made of oreo crumbles and cream. I thought it would be the sea salt cream, but I didn’t taste any saltiness at all. The drink tasted like a mellow version of a green tea kit kat to me. The tea flavor was stronger than the kit kat though :) I really enjoyed my drink. I got 50% sweetness and found it not that sweet at all. It kind of tasted like«healthy» boba… but maybe that was just the green of the mint playing tricks on my tastebuds. I didn’t taste the mint leaf at all in the drink. Overall I found it a bit muted but really enjoyable and somehow calming… unlike most drinks, which hype me up haha. If you like your drinks sweet, get 100% for sure and pick a sugary topping like jelly or boba. Otherwise, chill out and enjoy!
