I was about to drive up to Oregon and needed my car checked out before going. That Garage was able to see me right away and did a thorough safety check of my car. They replaced headlights, rotated my tires, and alerted me I needed new ones. I’m so grateful I went to the garage before my trip! I feel much safer driving now. There was very friendly service, They stayed later than closing so I could pick my car up the same day. And one of the best things is that they gave me good advice about what my car really needed and didn’t over charge me for extra things! Very reasonably priced. I will definitely go back here. Thanks Garage people!

We recently took our Toyota Venza to The Garage for the 60,000 mile service. Not only were the dealers in the area overpriced, after reading reviews for The Garage we were impressed and wanted to give them a try. We had also received a flyer in the mail. About a month or so before taking the car in, I called to ask for a quote. Howard was very helpful and sent the quote to me via email shortly after our phone call. It helped to see what was included in the cost of the service. When we were ready for the service, I called to check availability and was told I could drop off the car early the next day and leave the key in the lockbox, which was convenient for me on the way to work. The service was completed by the time I requested and we were charged what we were quoted because there was no other issues found. The overall process was easy and drama free. We will definitely be telling our family and friends about the garage and will be back for our future vehicle needs.

I came in because my 2013 Impala would not lock. I just got new keyless entry fobs and they wouldn’t work. I made an appointment online but was given one for a Monday (it was a Friday).
Not wanting to wait, I stopped by on my way home. I just walked right in and asked about service and was helped immediately. It’s just like the Garage in SF. Friendly, helpful and reasonable prices. My car was fixed that day and I’m another happy customer. I will return for all my automobile needs and let all my friends know.

Awesome customer service! Quick turnaround, knowledgeable workers (for my s2k), and very friendly. I brought in my s2000 for an oil change and tran fluid change, and shared all the details I wanted to know (type of fluids/​filters, 75k check-​up, etc), and provided me a comprehensive inspection report. Found my go-​to mechanic and will definitely come again!

Went and saw Danny on short notice for an oil change and tire rotation. Worked with nothing but integrity and friendliness. Prices are very reasonable and they’re more than helpful in letting you know of any other services your car may need for short and long term. Definitely recommend this shop, as it will be my go to shop for any services my car will need.

I took my car in to have tires rotated. They were able to fit me in with short notice. The service was prompt, unlike some other shops they got working on my car as soon as it was in. I’ve been going to The Garage in San Francisco for years and just had my first experience at their newest location in Burlingame. Service is top notch, prices are reasonable, and the quality of the work… well, its nothing short of fantastic. Danny and Howard are phenomenal and I will continue to send all of my car needs their direction!
To anyone skeptical, this is THE shop to go to. You will always leave happy and feeling like you weren’t taken advantage of. I cant give this place a higher recommendation!

The Garage (in San Francisco) has been the bay area’s most reliable «go to» shop for car repair and tune up for years. How does that relate to this place being any different? Probably not much at all. I am assuming it’ll be good because I have never had any issues with either Danny or Howard, the proprietors. I honestly would probably wait a month or so to get themselves acclimated to their environment. I don’t care how seasoned you are in opening a new business, there will always be issues.
I am not only reviewing this because I am a friend but I really do believe they carry the same business values that most business owners should have which is more customer oriented. Meaning… if they screwed up, they will fix it and not leave you in the dark… even if they have to take a loss. The motto of «the customer is always right» applies here. I personally don’t believe that customers are always right but it’s just part of the business that business owners have to deal with.
Congrats on the new place guys and if you guys carry the same great attitude and service, I am sure you guys will be a success in the South Bay.

The Garage auto service is finally in Burlingame. I’ve been driving to SF for their 10th and Folsom location for over 5 years now. Howard and the crew always take the best care of me, my cars and my friends I send their way. They’ve serviced everything from my C-​Class Mercedes, Honda Civic and MR2 Spyder. And every friend I send their way ends up thanking me for recommending such an honest shop.

They also have a sister auto body repair shop next to their 10th and Folsom location called Spectrum Auto Body. I’ve used them on many occasions for repair work and it always comes out looking like new.
