Thai (Phasa Thai [pstj], or more precisely Central Thai or Siamese, is the national and official language of Thailand and the native language of the Thai people. Thai is the official language of Thailand, spoken by over 20 million people (Wikipedia, 2012).

Thai language is good for foreigners who travel, do their businesses or live in Thailand because they can understand and enable to participate in conversations in Thai. It is not difficult to learn Thai language if you really want learn and practice to speak everyday with native speakers.

History

Established in 2012.

I start my Thai language business because I have been observed and that Thailand experienced rapid economic growth between 1985 and 1995 and is a newly industrialized country with tourism, due to well-​known tourist destinations such as Ayutthaya, Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi, Chiang Mai, and Ko Samui, and exports contributing significantly to the economy. There are approximately 5.2 million legal and illegal migrants in Thailand. Thailand has also attracted a number of expatriates from developed countries. Thailand is an emerging economy and considered as a newly industrialized country. There are a large numbers of tourists travel to Thailand and a hug numbers of foreigners want to do their business in Thailand. Therefore, i think it is great if thos who travel to Thailand have a chance to prepare themselves to learn at least a basic of thai language so that they will be very comfortable to go around the country, shopping, making new friends, and etc.

(Teacher Bio):

My name is Bellisa. I am a native Thai speaker. I graduated my Bachelor Degree in Communications (Journalism) from Bangkok, Thailand with GPA 3.5 in year 1998. I also have my Master Degree of Public Health with Magna Cum Laude GPA 3.72 from NY in 2005. Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate for Health Services in Public Health Policy from an accredited online university in the US.

(My Work Experiences):

I had 6 years working experiences in health care settings in California as a medical social worker for long-​term care facilities and rehab centers.

(My Teaching Experiences):

I worked part-​time as a tutor for high school students, grade 10 – 12 in the tutoring center in Bangkok, Thailand from 1997 – 1999 and Private Thai language lessons (conversations) in L.A. in year 2002 – 2005.
